Jacked January


Since I managed to gain 5 pounds over the holidays, I've gotten serious about losing the weight and getting back in shape. The past 6 months really sucked as far as me taking care of myself. It all started with my dad dying and the subsequent stresses that followed which left little time and energy for myself. I think I gained 3 or 4 pounds just in the few months following my dad's death. So I have 8 or 9 pounds to lose to get back into shape.


So far, I've managed to work out consistently since new year's day and have been watching what I eat. My trainer says that most people quit their fitness resolutions by January 19. I have no intention of quitting since I'm mainly just getting back to my former lifestyle.☺
