Of course I am, dear.

Aside from really sucking, being sick for a week is very boring as well.  And to alleviate the boredom, the Great Xul found herself looking at some new TV shows as well as looking at some old fandom sites. The peeps at the OUAT fansite are as tedious and boring as ever, but at least one of them posted a link to this quiz which I was all too eager to take.  When I take these sorts of quizzes I usually answer honestly.  If there are questions that could go more than one way for me, I'll take the quiz again just to see what happens.  I was quite pleased with the initial result.  ;D

I then noticed a link for a ThunderCats quiz. That was one of my all time favorite cartoons when I was a kid.  I still have a bunch of the action figures somewhere around here.  I was hoping to score Mumm Ra, but I initially came out as Slithe.

The description is totally me, but I still wanted Mumm Ra!  I took the quiz again and changed 2 answers and voila!

Muahahahahahahahahaha!!!  Because ya choose to be evil, baby!  ;P

Anyway, while I was watching one of those World's Dumbest shows, they showed a video of something very awesome:  Cold Steel Great Sword.  That shouldn't be included on a "dumbest" list since it's totally badass. Watching pigs getting sliced and diced with a giant sword makes me feel much better.  :)

I think I'm mostly over whatever dread virus I had.  I only have a bit of residual phlegm and snot and a bit of a cough once in a while.  I feel like I have most of my energy back as well.  :)  Soon I'll be back to my regularly scheduled workouts.  Hopefully I haven't lost too much power.

Aaaah, moneyzzz. :)

Do you turn into a werewolf if there's a full moon or something?

If only, that would make the perfect excuse. :)

Why do you find evil characters so cool? It's a bit odd since you live in the same house with an evil character. ;P

Interesting to see how much trouble that sword had with cutting through that animal skull.

I think I'm mostly over whatever dread virus I had.

Ah, good. I'm feeling much better as well.

You should use that as an excuse anyway. See what the reaction would be. ;P

Why do you find evil characters so cool?

IDK, I always have even since I was a little kid. The 'good guys' always seem so insufferable and sanctimonious. The baddies usually have the cooler costumes and other badass stuff. ;)

since you live in the same house with an evil character. ;P

She sees herself as the good guy. I rest my case. ;P

I still prefer my hand-and-a-half sword.

Ah, good. I'm feeling much better as well.

Good. I was feeling a bit worse when I got up today, but mostly because of all the phlegm. I took some Mucinex for that a bit ago and it seems to be helping. :)

Never heard of that. Is that one of those cough sirups that one can get high on? ;P

Okay, it's almost party time for me. I may report afterwards if I have the time. See ya! :)

Seriously. Tell them your lycanthropy is acting up again. See what the reaction is. ;P

That would be pretty cool if you could turn into a big shaggy wolfman. I'd definitely try to scratch your tickle spot to get your leg a'shakin'. ;P ;D

Is that one of those cough sirups that one can get high on? ;P

No. It's a pill that helps you hack up the phlegm.

I may report afterwards if I have the time. See ya! :)

Oh, goody! :) Have fun!

Hey, is it still colder than Hoth where you're at? Any more snowzezzz and frostsezzz?

And BTW, do you have a good kringloopwinkel in your town?

Well, I can't say it was great but some fun was had by me.

We had some snow last week. The temperature at night went down to -5 deg. Celsius.

do you have a good kringloopwinkel in your town?

I don't know if I'd call them 'good' but ATM there are about 2 or 3 kringloopwinkels in town. I sometimes go to one of them because the have a collection of books and I guess I'm hoping that someday there will be a book I like. But, pray tell, dear Xul, why do you ask?

Ya know, your winters are pretty ideal. It gets cold enough with the occasional bit of snow, but it's not like you get dumped on and it stays like that or weeks. :)

But, pray tell, dear Xul, why do you ask?

Just wondering. I like going in to look at books as well, plus there is usually some other interesting crap. I got an awesome B-shape recurve bow in good condition for $5 one time(they're like 100 bucks or more when new)and I've found good camo BDU's for cheap(like $3)and I've also found some good designer clothing occasionally. How much does the one you go to charge for books?

Not a lot, just 50 cents to a euro or something, depending on the book. I've never actually bought anything there though.

are there any of those store front buildings that have the apartments above where you live?

Sure, there are lots of them in the centre of town. Is there a specific reason you want to know this?

I think I caught another cold from someone at Saturdays party. Typical. Just another reason for me to dislike parties. Is your cold completely over now?

That is ideal. The old Salvation Army store used to be cheap like that, but then they closed that store. The only one fairly close to where I live is a Goodwill and they like to think of themselves as "upscale" like a regular retail store and their prices are kinda high for used junk. They were charging $2 or $3 for hardcovers at one time IIRC. I think they eventually had to drop the prices on books a bit to get them to sell. They were accumulating a shit ton of them the last time I was in there.

Is there a specific reason you want to know this?

I was watching a program called Bar Rescue last night and it made me think back to when I was younger; I thought it would be cool to own a little bar/pub and that it would be ideal if there was living space above the place, especially if you owned the building it would cut down on living costs and travel time. We don't have(many of)those here. Maybe only a few like in downtown Hollywood or Miami Beach since those buildings were built in the 30's or 40's.

Typical

Sorry to hear that. :/ Definitely typical. I dislike being around groups of people for the same reason.

Is your cold completely over now?

No, but it's mostly over. I still have the occasional snot dribble and some residual phlegm.

I have to go to the gig in a bit. QoH was being weird(OCD acting up)and wanted me to call the contact person at the place to get more specific directions(I don't know why she couldn't call). I'm usually very avoidant when it comes to calling people who I don't know and get very nervous. I seemed to be fine with it today(as long as QoH isn't hovering and trying to micromanage). It's nice to be finally getting over that issue.

I'll let you know how it went when I get back.

Well, that was eeeeeasy! It was an alumni get-together for some lawyers at a swank law office. There were 29 peeps total. The office was HUGE. It comprised the entire west wing of the 4th floor(penthouse for that building).

We set up the food in the big conference room(there were at least 8 all set up with video conferencing equipment). There was chicken caesar salad, crudite, a fruit bowl, and assorted cookies plus 4 hot items passed around--pigs-in-a-blanket, spinach and mushroom puffs, coconut chicken, and stuffed mushrooms. Wine, soda, and water for beverage. In and out in 4 hours. :)

Yeah, I've never been too fond of doing that either. I'm actually supposed to call my a psychotherapist for an appointment this week. I just need some time to get used to the idea. :)

Wow, that's the nicer kind of catering gig. Were you the only caterers there? Where did all the food come from?

Mushroom and Spinach Breakfast Puffs

I think I'd like to make those. And eat them. :)

Ya know, when I was a little kid I didn't have a problem calling someone on the phone. It was when I got older and QoH would get hyper critical over it. She'd want me to call some place to find out something, then interrogate me and berate me about why I didn't ask this, that, or the other. It was like she was setting me up for a no-win situation, so I developed a complex over making phone calls. :/

I'm actually supposed to call my a psychotherapist

I was wondering when your next appointment would be.

Were you the only caterers there?

Yep.

Where did all the food come from?

They had ordered it from a kosher store.

I think I'd like to make those. And eat them. :)

They were yummy. :)

Hey, I forgot to mention...the other night when I went to Walmart for a few things I went to the jewelry department to look at the watches. When I finished looking, I went past some other cases that I usually don't look at and discovered that they had moved the watches that they had on clearance over there. Well, none of those ones were *exactly* what I was looking for, but they were marked down to $25. That is a really good price since they were $60+ watches. I didn't buy one, but the more I think about it, I just might give them a second look the next time I'm in there. They looked to be the size I liked. One was even a stainless steel chronograph with a black face, but it had a red bezel(I don't really care for that look) and the bracelet was kinda meh. Another one was red and black(again, not really something I'd go for, but I might give it a second look since it didn't look too bad and the price was right.

That about 22 euro. That's pretty cheap.

You know, if I wanted to buy this watch I probably wouldn't think twice about it. But I guess you do think twice about it because have a bit of a cash-flow problem, even more so than I. Right? Or are you just stingy? :)

Well, as far as my cold is concerned, I'm at the runny nose and sneezing stage. This could be a good sign and may indicate that tomorrow things will have cleared up mostly.

We have plans to clean up the shed in the backyard. My old dryer is still in here and needs to move, to the junkyard. And there's also a lot of other crap that needs to be sorted out. Eventually I may be able turn it into some sort of "man cave". Heh. :)

While those two things *might* be true, it's more of a case of me not wanting to buy something that I don't totally love.

Woohoo! Mine is nearly fully cleared up as well. :)

Good luck with the culling of the crap and that man cave. :)

When you are finished I have a favor to ask you. I have once again taken another stab at writing a fanfic. I will email it to you shortly and would like honest feedback and critiques. I just need to know what it is like to have an unwanted boner(like a *really* big one). How uncomfortable would it be if you were wearing tight jeans? How would it affect mobility? What would you try to get rid of it? What would you do to try to hide it, etc?

Their parents are busy celebrating carnaval.

Have you ever gone to one of those celebrations?

Happy Valentine's, BTW. :)

Congratulation on the successful reception. :)

Thanks! It feels really good, actually. I can see why people get addicted to it. The approval is really a big ego booster. :)

It's quite good. I can understand why people like it.

Thanks again. :)

I knew that it was technically sound(in the grammar and punctuation department), but I was concerned with how the content would be received.

I kinda screwed myself a bit when I initially posted it. I thought I had put the characters in the proper fields on the posting form, but somehow when I posted it it didn't take. I think a lot of people search for stories based on their favorite characters, so I missed a bunch of hits initially. I probably could have had 500 views the first day had I caught the mistake. Anyway, it's fixed now. :)

I don't really know, I've only ever had wanted boners. :) I suppose it would be embarrassing, depending on the company I keep at that moment.

I don't wear tight jeans but hypothetically, I don't think mobility would be a problem. You know people wear their penises differently apparently. Some just let it hang, to the left or the right or middle, and some place it underneath the elastic band of their underpants to that it points upwards (I read that somewhere).

Would I try to hide it? Probably, yes. If I were sitting down, I'd probably not get up anytime soon. If I were already standing I'd make a quick excuse, if needed, and walk away and then just avoid people.

How to get rid of it? Try to not think of sexy things, get really busy doing non-sexy things. Take some deep breaths, relax.

Have you ever gone to one of those celebrations?

Only as a child.

Thank you! I thought up a majority of the dialogue on Saturday when I was outside trimming the hedges. It's amazing what a few minutes of not having QoH's endless chatter can do. My mind was free to come up with loads of snark.

The real trick was getting back inside to actually type the bulk of it out before QoH came to interrupt(and she did--almost endless interruptions--as if there were powers conspiring to prevent me from doing it).

Anyway, it all started with the "heroic button" idea + me looking up priapism on the intertoobs. It's funny how ideas morph into something diferent than intended. :)

I *did* post it and I started getting favorited 5 minutes afterward. Over 600 views since last night. :)

I'm still recovering from the flu. So I'm not doing much. Reading, playing videogames.

How was your weekend with the nephews?

They haven't left yet. Well, the youngest is still here. Today's the last day of carnaval so he'll probably leave for home tomorrow.

Did you get the appt with the shrinker yet?

Not yet. I think tomorrow I'll have recovered from the flu sufficiently so maybe I'll give him call then. Friday is my next appt with the intermediary shrink again BTW. I bet she'll love that I waited this long.

So when will you be winning the Pulitzer prize you think? ;P

Sorry to hear. Hope you feel better soon. :)

I'm 99.9% recovered myself. I finally did a partial workout on Sunday night and then I broke out the exercise mat to do some push-ups and sit-ups last night. Not too much, though. The heaviest thing I did was a couple sets of biceps curls with the 20 pound dumbbells since I already had to have those out to use those to hold my feet.

They haven't left yet.

Damn, your sis is a real party animal, huh?

I bet she'll love that I waited this long.

LOL

Heh, my FF friend was already hinting around trying to goad me into that mafia idea that I had. I'm not really in the mood for any more writing ATM. That story would have to be at least 100,000 words to do it justice. I'm not ready to make the leap from 2,000 words to that just yet. ;P

It would be 20 chapters at 5,000 words per. That's about average for a really good story.

Sure does.

I think I need to do a blog post on who I need to thank for my sense of humor. :)

We finally got the first *really* cold blast today. I know it's not cold by everyone else's standards, but it's cold for here. The front blew through last night with some rain and then it was nice and chilly today. Only 60F for the high ATM. :)

It's supposed to get into the 40's tonight. Woohoo! ;P

I also bought a case wrench while I was in there(although this particular watch has screws in the back like my old Lorus dive watch). Only $5. Gotta love Wally's prices. ;)

I discovered the truth about silk the hard way at an event called "Grad Night" which was this thing that Disney World in Orlando used to do. It was an event held after closing time at the park where they had several bands and all the rides were open and was for all the high school seniors in the state. The caveat was that you had to dress up to attend. Being Florida, that is terribly impractical as it is hotter than blue blazes even at night up in Orlando in May. I wasn't going to "dress up" traditionally speaking. I wore a black silk shirt with black silk pants and studded leather booties. It was very much like wearing pajamas. I thought it would be comfortable, but silk is not a heat and humidity friendly fabric. I ended up being miserable by the end of the night and IIRC had my shoes off and pants legs and shirt sleeves rolled up as far as they would go. The only consolation was that everyone else was miserable as well and also shed as much clothing as possible, so at least I had company. ;P

I had this odd dream

That *is* odd. And you usually don't have them(at least not that you remember ;P). Good on ya!

I had one about you a while back. You were in my bed so I took the opportunity to use you as a warm full-body pillow. I remember that you felt all snuggly. ;P

So how's your weekend so far?

I have been mowing the weeds. It hasn't rained much, so it's been a while since I last had to do it. I had to stomp maybe 500 hatchling grasshoppers while I was at it. The little bastards will turn into very large Lubber Grasshoppers otherwise and will do very serious damage to the shrubbery.

I'm going to have to clean some fungus out of my car

That sounds thoroughly disgusting. My car seems to only get spiders and the occasional wasp nest. Good luck with that! ;P

I doubt that it would be very comfortable in the real world to have my 86 kg body lying on top of you. ;P

Yeah, it is. The carpet in the trunk had a thin layer of white fluffy mold on it, mostly on the underside. I had to scrub it off. The carpet now hangs on our fence to dry. Unfortunately it dries quite slowly because of the cold. Plus it's going to rain tonight so I've had to cover it with plastic.
Also, I've noticed the car engine doesn't sound so great when it's running. Could be a spark plug malfunctioning maybe.

My car seems to only get spiders and the occasional wasp nest.

Is that the one that got mauled by dogs? Did it ever get fixed? Have you ever had a spider jump at you while driving BTW? :)

It wasn't, though. Back then when I was in HS silk was all the rage and the market was flooded. You could buy each piece for between $10 and $20.

Where did you get the outfit from?

Probably one of the discount stores like TJ Maxx or Marshall's.

to have my 86 kg body lying on top of you. ;P

Well, I was the one half on top of you so it wasn't too bad. ;P

Could be a spark plug malfunctioning maybe.

That'll do it. When is the last time the car has had a tune up? You should get the spark plug wires checked as well as the plugs.

Is that the one that got mauled by dogs?

Yep.

Did it ever get fixed?

Nope.

Have you ever had a spider jump at you while driving BTW? :)

I've never had them get inside the car. They usually like to attach their webs on the outside. One variety of spider likes to get inside the little door where the gas cap is. The cool thing about Chrysler is the doors are heavy and they have a thick rubber gasket that seals 'em up tight when they're closed. Unfortunately, there is a small gap between the front and back doors and pests can take up residence in-between(like wasps). You only discover they are there when you open the door. :/

Hey, just a while ago QoH says to me that she thinks she sees a horse up the street and wanted me to come take a look to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. Sure enough, it was a pony. And not just one pony but two. Apparently the peeps up the street are having a kids' party and they hired ponies for rides. The handlers were leading the ponies down the street a little ways and then back again. I'm glad it's down the street. I just got done cleaning up the yard yesterday. I wouldn't want to have to clean up horse shit. ;P

I'm having trouble visualizing that. Could you elaborate? :)

When is the last time the car has had a tune up?

I guess last August? I think I'll try and fix it myself first (with some help from my father and the internet). It's a fairly simple engine without all the computerized magic crap.

Didn't those two pony party peeps need an excellent caterer? They could have asked you. :/

Well, let's see...IIRC I came into my bedroom and you were lying on your back on the left side(the side butted up against the wall) and I was kinda surprised to see you there. I like to sprawl diagonally(and sleep on my stomach), so you'd just have to put up with that, so I just took my normal position and used your chest and torso for my pillow(front to front). It was one of those vivid dreams where I could feel stuff, so I could feel that you were nice and warm and snuggly so I ended up throwing my leg over yours(koala-like). I think it may have had something to do with it being so damn cold last week. :)

I think I'll try and fix it myself first

Much cheaper that way. And you won't have to worry about some mechanic charging you to fix things that don't need fixin'. ;P

Didn't those two pony party peeps need an excellent caterer?

I don't know them. I assume they are some sort of Caribbean islanders, so they likely would want their type of food.

In other news, I managed to tweak something in my neck the other day just before I got up. It still hurts like a bastard. :/

So do I. Head in the upper left corner, more or less.

and sleep on my stomach

I generally prefer to sleep on my back (although I have no idea what I get up to while I'm asleep).

Much cheaper that way.

Yes, if I'd succeed in fixing the problem. Unfortunately there's very little info about my car's engine to find on the internetz.
Maybe I'll just give my car to my sister so she gets to deal with any repairs. :)

It still hurts like a bastard.

That's a coincidence, I've had neck pains as well the past week. They're almost gone now. I wish I were there to give you a relaxing neck massage. :)

So what else do you think this week will have in store for you?

That's most comfortable for me, but sometimes I like to flip the other way. I usually flip back and forth a few times before I actually fall asleep.

My neck was still bothering me last night so I ended up sleeping on the right edge which proved to be more comfortable and not exacerbate things. It feels much better ATM, but not 100%. There's still a bit of pain. When I got up today, the first thing I did was strip off all the blankets and sheets and flip the mattress. I think the mattress had a worse dip in it the other way. The damn thing isn't quite 10 years old yet. I'd never get another memory foam one again.

Maybe I'll just give my car to my sister

Wasn't it hers originally? It'll come full circle then. ;)

I wish I were there to give you a relaxing neck massage. :)

That would be really, really nice. (and of course I'd reciprocate :) ) It would also annoy QoH so doubly good. ;P

So what else do you think this week will have in store for you?

Well, I already washed the aforementioned bed sheets and put fresh ones on. I did a load of dirty clothes and cooked some fish fillets. Tonight I have to go to the store for a couple items before the sale goes off and then to another store tomorrow before *their* sale goes off. Yesterday I cooked some cabbage and carrots to go with some deli corned beef that I bought. I don't know what else I'll be doing the rest of the week.

Yep, before it was mine, it was hers.

before the sale goes off

How do people keep track of those things? I just never bother.

I'll have to go to the hospital tomorrow morning to have some blood extracted for my diabetes check up. Then make an appointment for next week to discuss it with my diabetes doctor. Or maybe I'll just wait a week and then call. I' m going to have to call the auto-repair shop at some point to make an appointment with them. I'll have to coordinate with my sister in case she really needs the car. I guess I can go the the library and try to find some movies.

Say, do you ever have bread for breakfast or lunch or something? What's your preferred way of eating it? :)

They send out sale flyers in the mail if you opt for that service. They also have sale flyers at the front of the store for the customers.

Sound like a full schedule. Lots of pain in the ass things to do. ;P

I don't eat bread that much(It makes me put on too much weight). Certainly not as much as QoH. I *did* buy a delicious Italian bread with herbs on the top from Walmart the last time I was in there. It was really fresh and only $1. I ate slices of it with butter. Once in a blue moon I like some toast to go with my eggs in the morning. I like it with butter and lemon curd(or sometimes guava marmalade). I also like croissants made into a sandwich with fried egg and cheese. I had bought a while back the ingredients to make rye bread. I should probably do that soon as QoH was complaining about it the other day. :/ (Rye bread with caraway seeds is good as toast or for corned beef sandwiches/Ruben sandwiches.)

Well, yeah, we have those as well but having to read them and look for cheap stuff is more work than I care to put into saving a couple of euros.

It's not so bad. I had a nice walk to the hospital in the brisk morning air before breakfast.

I don't eat bread that much

I basically always eat 2 slices of bread for breakfast/lunch. It's easy. :)

caraway seeds

I don't think I've ever had those. What do they taste like?

Well, the 10 bucks I saved last night was worth it to me! ;P

the brisk morning air before breakfast.

Sounds nice. It has gotten summer-hot here the past few days. One of the local weather dudes called it "weather whiplash". Made me LOL.

So, did the vampires get their sample? Everything is all good?

Oh, I'm not saying that I don't *like* bread; I love it, especially freshly baked. It's just that it makes me fat. Do you want me to end up looking like QoH? :O

What do they taste like?

I don't know how to describe it other than it's what gives "seeded" rye bread it's distinct taste. Very yummy IMO. :)

In other news, we received a postcard from the satellite company saying that one of our receivers was old and needed to be replaced. QoH was concerned that a tech would have to come out to do it. I called just a bit ago and the customer service chick said that they just send you a new one via UPS and I could install it myself. :) This is excellent as I won't have to attempt to clean up QoH's hoard to make the house presentable for a tech. I just have to make sure I get it hooked up before the 13th of March to make sure the service to that TV doesn't get interrupted. :)

No, I guess not. But I eat bread and it doesn't make me fat so I find baffling that it has that effect on you.

QoH's hoard

How big is that hoard?

send you a new one

Does it do things the old one doesn't?

It's not that uncommon for wimmenz. You men have all that testosterone to help ya out. ;P

How big is that hoard?

Very big. Have you ever seen the TV show Hoarders? They have a 'degrees of hoarding' scale from 1-5(5 being the worst). QoH's would be in the 1.5 - 2 scale. I guess you could call it extreme clutter since it's not garbage or dirty. She refuses to get rid of everything and flips the script and says it's all my stuff, which is total BS because if I attempted to get rid of any of it then suddenly she'd flip out that I was throwing away her "good" stuff. ::facepalm:: Also she claims the reason it's like that is I "refuse" to help her clean it up and she has been "begging" me for years to do it. Um, no. She literally has a fit if I try to get rid of my *own* things. Around 10 years ago I culled out a bunch of crap that was in my closet(stuff that was in there since I was a baby). I had to bag it up and throw it in the trash after she was asleep or she would have went through it and not allowed any of it to be thrown away. :/

Does it do things the old one doesn't?

Not that I know of. It's just old. It has been intermittently malfunctioning recently, so getting a new one for free is good. :)

Hey Arekino, would you be willing to help a lady out? ;P Ya see, I know next to nothing about comics. The only comics I own are a Thor one from the late 70's and 4 or 5 first edition Thundercats ones that I bought myself. Anyway, I have no idea what's popular or what the kids are into these days. It's kinda a dilemma when I'm thinking of writing a short fanfic that involves the subject. :/

Okay, so it' s no faster or something? I read that the FCC was all pro-netneutrality now. Maybe providers are responding to that?

I have no idea what's popular or what the kids are into these days.

There's a lot of variety in comicbooks. In the USA it's mostly superhero stuff that's the most popular, I guess, but there are other genres. There are several subreddits devoted to comicbooks.

It's kinda a dilemma when I'm thinking of writing a short fanfic that involves the subject. :/

As I understand it, writers often write about subjects they are not experts in, which I'm sure can lead to some embarrassment sometimes. Strictly speaking, you just need to know enough to fake it. Which means you really only need to know a little more about a subject than you think your audience knows. ;P

I've started experimenting with electronics again. Back to basics. Don't hold your breath for pics of my giant mecha-dragonbot though. :)

I really have no idea. I think they just retire the old ones after they are so many years old.

Fuck the eff cee cee and the Communist horse it rode in on. Bunch of damn control freak pieces of shit that run the govt. >:(

writers often write about subjects they are not experts in

Yeah, the 50 Shades author comes to mind. As I understand it, she was a fanfic writer...just looked it up...at the same site I'm published on! LOL Doing Twilight fanfics of all things. LOL Anyway, the 50 Shades book has drawn almost universal derision especially from the BDSM community for its inaccuracies.

you just need to know enough to fake it.

Well, I'm the sort who researches the shit out of a subject if I don't already know all about it(and even if I do). Snark and humor come naturally, so I have no problem in that area. :)

The 2 fics that I published I researched just to minimize any mistakes and keep the facts straight. It even led to some happy accidental discoveries that I incorporated into the 2nd story. :)

Which means you really only need to know a little more about a subject than you think your audience knows. ;P

I think most of the audience over there is teens and mid-20's. So I probably got that aspect covered. ;P

I had to laugh at one of the comments I got on my first fic where they said it was really well written especially for a first fic. I've probably literally been writing for longer than some of these peeps have been alive. ;P

my giant mecha-dragonbot though. :)

As awesome as that would be, I'd settle for a mini mecha-dragonbot. ;P

Ya know, something like that would be really cool for Halloween. You could make a bunch of animatronic "scares" and charge some moolah for admission. ;P

You're a pretty cool guy, Arekino. No wonder I like ya. ;P ;D
