Guess who's here for Halloween?

Ta daaaaaah!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The worst trick of all!  At least the bitch will be leaving on Halloween and not just getting started.

Twisty's like, "Ma Nature? Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Xul? She's the worst!"

Anyway, here's a nice Hugh Jackman-O-Lantern:

And some more creepy Twisty action!

Arekino, is it possible to get a decent burger in your fine country? And I don't mean McDonalds. I don't even consider that to be food.

Depends on what you call decent. Actually, I rarely eat out so I don't really know. A quick Google search gives me list 1 and list 2 of places where apparently the best hamburgers are served in this country. As for my own town, it's possible the local FEBO has some good ones, but I wouldn't know.

Will you perish without a good burger? :)

Things went okay at the dentist (who turned out to be a lady BTW). Apparently my mouth is in pretty good condition. I have made an appointment for Tuesday to get that wisdom-tooth filled. Oh, and I've been given the advice to floss regularly from now on.

So what's your stance on personal dental care? Got any preferences you'd like to share?

No, it's just at another blog the peeps were making fun of the English over them not being able to make a decent burger(according to N American standards)even though that country is known for good roast beef. They have all the necessary raw components, but can't seem to assemble a decent one. I was just wondering if your peeps did it any better since y'all seem to like American things. ;P

Things went okay at the dentist

Good! :)

who turned out to be a lady BTW

I had a feeling it would be a lady. Smaller hands. ;D

my mouth is in pretty good condition.

Good to know. It should be put to other uses besides eating food and drinking stuff. ;P

to get that wisdom-tooth filled.

That sounds kinda horrible. Good luck with that. :)

So what's your stance on personal dental care?

I brush every day, usually just in the morning and floss occasionally. I don't floss every day since it tends to tear up my gums. I don't use mouth wash usually as they put too much sugar in it and it kinda defeats the purpose. I only use that if I've been eating garlic and I need to knock the smell down if I'm going somewhere. IDK, just brushing regularly seems to have served me well. :)

I hope you don't feel too bad.

I don't feel too good, but she's done worse. She's certainly brought the Halloween blood and gore. :/

And that thing where my internal temperature fluctuates all over. I was freezing cold last night even though the A/C was actually set to a not-as-cold-as-usual setting. I kept making it warmer and warmer, then put on some sweatpants and then a sweatshirt and had a blanket thrown over me. Then I got hot and had to take off the sweats. Then I had lower back pains to go with the stabbed-in-the-uterus pain. Now I only have some lower back pain. Thank God for ibuprofen! (and your concern) :)

According to my dentist that's because you don't do it regularly. It's only supposed to happen in the beginning and then your gums toughen up.

I don't use mouth wash usually as they put too much sugar in it and it kinda defeats the purpose.

That *would* defeat the purpose, which is why they don't put actual sugar in it but artificial sweetener.

She's certainly brought the Halloween blood and gore.

Yeah, I just realized, if you are short of fake blood for a costume then you can use the real stuff instead. ;P

had a blanket thrown over me.

By QoH or the Ghost of Halloween? :)

Well, I'm glad you can take it easy in your time of pain. Taking rest is probably the best you can do? I'm quite glad I'm not a woman though. I'd seriously hate to go through this every frickin' month. :/

Doesn't matter. It's soooo sweet tasting that you want to die, and sorbitol and saccarin aren't good for you.

By QoH or the Ghost of Halloween? :)

By myself. I have one of those thin polyester ones that doesn't provide much warmth which is why I needed the sweats.

Taking rest is probably the best you can do?

Yeah, but QoH still won't leave me alone. And she's such a liar. I remember when I was a kid whenever she had hers or was sick for some reason, she would go lay down. And it was often. Now, she acts like she was the ultimate martyr who never laid down or took a break and just powered through everything. I even asked my dad about that the last time I talked to him just to be sure I was remembering right(and not falling for her gaslighting tactics)and my dad confirmed it.

Yeah, it *really* sucks to go through this bullshit every month. Sometimes it's not so bad and then other times it's awful.

Anyway, I'm through the worst of it. I shouldn't have to deal with it too much tomorrow as Ma Nature should be on her way by then. *Then* I'll be able to get a pic of Mafia Xul for ya! ;P

Schatje, I just looked up the FEBO thing. It's an Automat! Holy shit! You have one of those where you live? And it's good(so peeps say)? Have you tried food from there? Do you lot have 1 Euro coins? That would be kinda a pain in the ass with smaller denomination coins. I need to try this if I should come and visit. I'm almost giddy at the prospect of cheapish fried food(by Euro standards)that isn't too horrible.

Yeah, it's in the shopping centre in the centre of town.

I haven't tried it myself but it's been there for over a decade, I think, so people must like it.

Do you lot have 1 Euro coins?

Yes, we do. I myself usually don't carry any. I just use my bank card most of the time.

*Then* I'll be able to get a pic of Mafia Xul for ya! ;P

I'll be waiting impatiently, tapping with my feet on the floor, chewing on my nails and kicking the cat. ;P

Damn, I wish I had some cannoli to go with it all. :)

Like they said in The Godfather, 'Leave the gun, take the cannoli.' ;P

Speaking of guns, how do you lot feel about peeps over here owning guns? I think I might have offended my FF friend a bit when I alluded to not having any fake guns to go with my mafia outfit. I know some folks in Europe are absolutely horrified by it and think we're all crazy homicidal maniacs if we have such things. I mean, I have a pellet gun that looks like a real Colt 45(I actually have a pair of them, but I took one apart when it wasn't firing properly and then could get it put back together and I don't know where I put it). It's not a firearm, but it does fire BBs or pellets, so it's *technically* real. I wouldn't have it as part of an outfit outside my own home because someone could call the cops on me and I'd likely get shot over it. /end of ramble

Do you ever fry food at home? Like French fries?

Sure, but I don't have a deep fryer. Food just tastes better somehow when it's deep fried. And those Automat things are kind of a novelty over here. I know there's one in NY. I think it would be kinda cool to try something from one. :)

You're right. I shall have to buy a cat and start kicking it. ;P

Most people tend to think you're bit weird if you have guns at home. It's just not considered necessary. Plus you need a special permit to just own a gun, let alone keep one in your house.

but it does fire BBs or pellets, so it's *technically* real.

You could shoot someone's eye out with those. ;)

I'd likely get shot over it.

I don't think that would happen over here, although you never know. You probably would get a fine if you open carried one of those.

but I don't have a deep fryer.

So you just have a pan? Do you use sunflower oil or some special stuff?

there's an offer ya can't refuse in your mail.

Oh, wow, you're one hot dame, Xul. They're both nice pics but I kinda like the second pic better, partly because it's in focus ;) and partly because you look damn sexy in that one. :)

At least here in the Gunshine State, you need no such things. When you go to buy one, they do an instant background check on you(costs $5)to determine if you have felonies or something to prevent you from buying it. Then you pick out whatever you like and pay for it. For the state, there is a 3 day waiting period before you can come back and pick up your purchase, but for the counties where I'm at, it is 7 days. Then when you pick it up, a person has to escort you out of the store after you sign a bunch of paperwork and you can be on your merry way. You don't have to register anything in this state. You only need a permit if you want to conceal carry. That requires a special course and you have to get fingerprinted at the sheriff's office for that. It's too much of a pain in the ass IMO, so I just carry pepper spray and a sharp little friend. :)

You could shoot someone's eye out with those. ;)

Maybe. It's just a crappy spring loaded one and doesn't pack much oomph. I didn't buy them, I found them. Kinda interesting story, that. ;P

Do you use sunflower oil or some special stuff?

A vegetable shortening called Crisco. It's formulated for frying.

Oh, wow, you're one hot dame, Xul

Why thank you! I was just thinking I should wear that outfit more often(the second one). I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get into the pants because of Ma Nature making me bloated, but then all that went away. I think all the exercising has helped, too. IIRC, those pants were snug when I bought them many years ago and I never wore them anywhere(and because they are expensive Italian-made merino wool ones, so authentic mafia-wear ;P and I didn't want to get them ruined).

For some reason, my camera doesn't want to take a focused pic in my bedroom. I'll do it fine in the bathroom. I guess it's the lighting and lack of crap in the background. :/

Ya know, I was going to do the outfit with my pinstriped black pants, black shirt, red tie, and black leather coat, but the hat looked out of place. I think this outfit looked much better. ;D

Anyway, I ate too much crap last night(sour gummy worms and nacho with salsa con queso) so today I'm eating something healthy that you would probably like--spinach salad with beets, walnuts, red onions, and goat cheese with a dressing of sherry vinegar, olive oil, and honey. It's yummy. :)

I take it you had no trick-or-treaters? Did you at least watch some scary movies? I watched Hellraiser 1 and 2. :)

Nah. I did have two nephews sleep over Saturday evening.

I watched Hellraiser 1 and 2.

I've seen those so many times I can't really watch them anymore. I'm still hoping I'll find the sequels on Youtube though.

I don't think there were any good movies on Friday.

Luckily I've found myself season two of the Danish/Swedish TV series The bridge.

Oooookay, So remember how I mentioned that when I was a kid the next door nabes sold unlicensed Colombian pharmaceuticals? Well, one day someone came and robbed them at gunpoint.

A few weeks or months later, I was playing ball with some friends in the street when the ball went over the hedge at the crazy old man's house. (He lived at the pie-shaped property at the fork in the road between the two streets and had a thick hedge all the way around the property.) Anyway, I was the brave one to run in to his yard via his front walkway and retrieve the ball. While I was in there, I found the one gun. Apparently the guys who robbed the nabes used fake guns(pellet guns)and chucked the evidence(the guns)over the hedge of Crazy Old Dude's place. I think I found the other gun a while later while having to retrieve another ball. It was the same type as the first one.

find the sequels on Youtube

They had all of them on at various time this week on the movie channels. Most of them kinda suck. :/

Isn't that how the movie Halloween started?

While I was pleased to see a Twisty costume, I couldn't help but think what kind of asshole parent would let their kid watch that show?

Maybe the kid had only seen pieces of the show on Youtube? Kids tend to share "cool" stuff like that with each other.

Well, appointment #2 with the dentist tomorrow morning. Gonna get mah wisdom tooth filled up. And hopefully that will be it. :/

It's a folding lock back pocket knife style. It's not an automatic--those are illegal. Heh, I just looked something up about it...one site proclaimed it the "original gangster knife"...hehehe.

I wonder why the old dude hadn't found the guns?

IIRC, old dude didn't get around much by then and rarely went out in the yard. The type of plant he had for the hedge was slow-growing and thick, so it didn't require any maintenance and you couldn't see into the yard which was a bit overgrown, so no one came to do yard work and no one could see in there.

Kids tend to share "cool" stuff like that with each other.

And kids also sneak watching things they shouldn't. There's still a lot of permissive parenting. QoH was like the CIA. She probably would have interrogated me over who Twisty was and chewed me out over watching something like that. Well, maybe. ;P

Good luck with that! I hope they at least give you some good drugs. And tell me if you say any weird shit while on said drugs. Drugged up peeps coming from the dentist say the funniest things. ;P

I didn't feel a thing. :)

Over here they generally don't use general anaesthetic or laughing gas. It's all locally numbed gums. I suppose I could try to come up with something funny to say anyway... ;P

And she is such a control freak and lately so paranoid about everything, I can't go out and get a job on my own because she wouldn't be able to monitor every second of my life if that happened. >:(

In other news, AHS continues to be seriously effed up like :O They certainly know how to meet and exceed expectations in the shock value department.

And for the first time since the first episode, TUF was actually interesting and had a good fighter(Rose Namajunes)whose kicks were as fast as rabbits fucking and all around tough as a boiled owl. I think she has a chance at winning the whole thing.

They also had a couple ladies from the US Women's National Soccer Team on as guests--Sydney Leroux and my "girlfriend*" Megan Rapinoe.

*The Women's World Cup qualifiers were on last month and I watched a few of the Team USA games. I made the mistake of saying that Megan Rapinoe was a good player--she can make an accurate corner kick like none I've ever seen, male or female--in the presence of QoH. So of course QoH had to comment that she looks like a little lesbian with her boy haircut and that I'm obviously attracted to her. ::rolls eyes:: Funny how she had no such comments when I was watching the men's rugby game the other day(USA vs NZ All Blacks) with all the fine male specimens running around the pitch. ::rolls eyes even harder:: Silly QoH, I'm not into blondes. ;P

Yes, Rick Scott got re-elected as governor which was my main concern. I had numerous dealings with Crist at my old job and the guy is a disingenuous slimy self serving typical politician and was terrible as governor when he served and I DID NOT want to have to deal with him fucking shit up for the next 4 years.

Also, there were a couple local issues to fund shit that got voted down, so I was happy about that, and also the marijuana thing didn't get enough votes to pass. :)

That's "Ickey", I think?

Yeah, I couldn't recall how he spelled his name and I couldn't be arsed to look it up.

Well, she's not wrong

Yeah, got any advice on that? I'm using paracetamol ATM but it seems to work only for about 2 hours and the time interval between taking tablets has to be about 4 hours. This does not get me painless through the night. :/

Oh, I went to the doctor today and apparently I have pharyngitis. That explains why it hurts to swallow. Great, more pain for me! >:(

It was advertised to be a bill allowing the use of medical marijuana, but the way the language of the thing was written, it would basically be like the way it is in California where a "doctor" can write anyone a "prescription" for any reason and then you can smoke weed wherever and whenever you want. It would allow "pill mill" style clinics to legally write out fake prescriptions. The AG of this state just got through shutting down all the bogus pill mills in the state which perpetuated all sorts of insurance fraud and this stupid thing would basically be allowing the same sort of thing only with marijuana instead of pills.

I don't oppose legitimate medical marijuana, but I do oppose all the dumbass potheads who want to smoke up anywhere and at all times.

got any advice on that?

I find that OTC ibuprofen if I take 800mg works for me for about 5 hours. I don't have any experience with prescription medications. My Canadian friends have access to Tylenol with codeine and they swear that it's great for pain.

I'm sorry the tooth is still bothering you and now you have the pharyngitis. :( ::hugs::

I'm just tired of Elizabeth Mitchell's boobage in my face every week.

I might just suffer through that. Ah, the suffering. The sweet, sweet suffering. ;P

I'd rather look at LP's boobage in a Evil Queen outfit.

Hm. How is Lana doing these days?

How's the tooth and throat, BTW? All better? :)

99%.

I was just wondering if you lot have any of those bonfire type festivals at this time of year?

I can't find anything about a bonfire in my own town by I know there are some in other towns. Like in Scheveningen each year. Why dost thou asketh, sweet lady?

IRL she got married over the summer. On the show, they are still pushing the whole Robin Hood relationship. I think RH's character is a complete douche and I cringe every time I see them together.

Why dost thou asketh, sweet lady?

Well, Her Stoatliness and her hubs Uncle Badger went to the one in Rye(they live in England)and it just looked like so much fun. There was a fire breathing dragon and peeps with real torches and bonfires and stuff. IDK, there is something very primal and enticing about fire. I kinda long for traditions from my N European heritage. Where I live, there is nothing of my culture. :/

I wonder if that's why they cast the actor that plays him. I've previously seen him in a comedic TV series and he plays a bit of a douche in there as well.

Isn't today Sint Maarten's?

Apparently. I had no idea. It's not celebrated a lot in this boring town. OTOH the 11th of November is traditionally the date for the 11/11 ball: a party to celebrate the start of carnaval, which is officially celebrated around February but people like to get a head start. :)

Your town is boring.

Well, from my point of view, you're not wrong. I kinda like it boring. Usually.

Where I live, there is nothing of my culture. :/

Do you have any personal traditions? (Apart from QoF's shenanigans)

Always an excellent idea. ;P

Well I guess it's a good thing I'm not there. My lady hormones are making me feel frisky ATM and there's no telling what I might try to do to you. ;D

Do you have any personal traditions?

When I was very young, QoH used to go all out with celebrating holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Lots of decorating and special foods were made. Halloween was always my thing. ;P But I think QoH was mainly trying to impress other family members. :/

Ya know, bonfires used to be a tradition here when I was a kid, but it was tied to the high school football "homecoming". I don't know if the "spirit week" thing happened at every school, but the one I went to, when you got to H/S the spirit week thing was that each day had a different theme and you dressed up accordingly for each day. Like one day would be International Day where you'd dress in traditional garb from a culture of your choice, College Day where you'd dress in gear from your favorite college, Fairy Tale Day where you'd dress as a fairy tale character, etc. The week would culminate in the homecoming football game, homecoming king and queen would be crowned, and then a big bonfire. Of course we can't have bonfires any more because accidents happened with peeps making the bonfires too big and the thing collapsing and peeps getting injured or killed. Now I don't think they have any of that.

Somewhat related: Because the stupid govt insists on allowing and encouraging the influx of people from Central and South America, even the traditional Thanksgiving food is getting forgotten about and crap food from where they come from is now advertised as "Thanksgiving Dinner". Like last night I went to the market around the corner for some veg and they had posted at each checkout a flyer advertising their "Thanksgiving Dinner Special". It was a turkey, black beans and rice, and yuca. I was like WTF? The only thing traditional there was the turkey. ::facepalm:: Thanksgiving dinner items are supposed to be special dishes that you only eat for Thanksgiving. Black beans and rice and yuca is shit that they at at like every meal.

Anyway, I think I need to put the Rye Bonfire thing on my bucket list because that looked pretty cool. :)

What's the reasoning behind that? Is there so much demand for cheap labor?

Geesh, I just had a freakin' panic attack during dinner. All because I could feel my blood sugar level was dropping. I'd been taking walks again on Monday and Wednesday so I guess those have caught up to me. It sometimes takes a couple of days before I notice the effects of physical exertion. I started eating and drinking sugar like an SOB. I'm still a little jittery but my BS lvl seems okay now.
Panic attacks suck. It feels like your dying. :/

I might stalk you while you were out for a walk and then ambush you and drag you into the woods for some impromptu sexy times. ;P

What's the reasoning behind that? Is there so much demand for cheap labor?

Twofold: 1) the cheap labor--illegals can be paid less and also because they have no SS#, the companies that employ them don't have to pay SS tax, Obamacare tax, etc that they'd have to pay for a citizen(and there's also some leftist social justice bullshit reasoning in there , too) and 2)all these peeps will be 10-20 million new Democrat votes once that POS gives them amnesty by executive order(which he has no authority to do under the Constitution, but hey, when has that ever prevented him from violating the Constitution at will and no one in Congress doing shit about it).

The worst part is that the Republicans are almost as bad as the Democrats. IMO, they are like the Harlem Globetrotters(D) vs the Washington Generals(R). It's all a show and both sides are essentially working for the same company. The whole system has been so bastardized that it doesn't even work and the actual citizens get screwed over by both sides.

Those suck. Mine are usually caused by QoH getting me so riled up I think I'm going to croak. :/

I'd been taking walks again on Monday and Wednesday...It sometimes takes a couple of days before I notice the effects of physical exertion.

I shall keep that in mind. I guess you'd have to be a pillow prince by necessity. ;P

Panic attacks suck. It feels like your dying. :/

Yup. Couldn't agree more. :(

Hey, in lighter news,(kinda like you)I've upped my workouts to at least 3X per week. I've been doing that for about 2 weeks now and can already see the difference. All my muscles feel super hard now, especially in my legs(quads)since I upped the resistance on the stationary bike so that I can use it like a resistance(weights) workout since I don't have a weight bench with the leg extension attachment.

Also I've been concentrating on building up my shoulders so I've mainly been working those with punching while holding 5 pound weights and indirectly it has been stimulating my core. I just feel all hard and muscle-y all over. :)

I see. So, it's time to disband the USA? ;P

My walks are usually about an hour long. How long do you expect one sex-session to last? ;P

Couldn't agree more. :(

You have first hand experience with those?

Well, that is probably good for your health. What about cardio-stuff?

I guess I'd just have to do that when it's warmer then. ;P (although I'm sure I could manage to keep ya warm somehow ;P)

My walks are usually about an hour long.

I can go 45 minutes mowing the lawn when it's hot without a break, 1.5 hours when it's not hot, 4 hours when mountain biking, 5-8 hours at work, which leads to...

How long do you expect one sex-session to last? ;P

As long as it needs to. ;D ^Shows I have plenty of physical endurance. ;D ;P

You have first hand experience with those?

Unfortunately, yes. I've had them a couple times over the years.

What about cardio-stuff?

I would say mowing the lawn is definitely cardio, but at a low-impact speed. I try to do the bike at least 10 minutes per session when I do it. Of course, doing that is different than riding an actual bike around since you don't really do continuous peddling when riding a real bike--ya sorta peddle and cruise, peddle and cruise. ;)(of course I haven't done the latter in years :/)

Oh! Last night I made the equivalent of food porn. My FF friend has gone on vacation to somewhere in the US and before she left, she finished off one story and posted the update for a second one. She is evil since she likes to get people hungry with food suggestions. So she had mentioned a Moroccan dish and it got me in the mood for Middle Eastern food. I broke out a couple of my cookbooks and was going to make moussaka since I had an eggplant but instead ended up looking at one of my Jewish cookbooks and finding a really interesting recipe for noodle kugel. It called for dried cranberries and dried apricots cut into bits(just happened to have some of those). It turned out sooooooo yummy! :)

Nah, there are many ways to take care of a pillow prince. ;P

If you're willing to talk about that, I'm happy to listen.

It only really happened when I was younger, and a couple of instances especially when I was in school. The school and QoH had a way of taking minor infractions and blowing them waaaaay out of proportion. (my friends in H/S who had previously gone to public school told me that shit you'd get in trouble for at the private school, in public school the teacher wouldn't even care or notice). Now I know that the punishments were unreasonable, but back then it was like the end of the world.

I told you about the computer class I was forced to take when I was around 10 y/o. It was more than my developmental level could handle and I did poorly at it, then combine that with being teased and made fun of by the older boys in the class and having an unsympathetic teacher who would explain things one time and if you didn't get it too bad for you. I never had such prolonged anxiety over something. I would get physically sick(IBS, feeling faint, cold sweats, heart racing etc). I fucking HATED having to take that class. I used to always be sick and ask to go to the nurse to get out of it(I *was* physically sick, so I wasn't faking).

Looking back on it now, the class was after regular school hours and I think part of the reason QoH enrolled me in that is she couldn't pick me up on time from school to save her life. She didn't work back then, she was a SAHM. I don't know why she was always late-maybe sleeping? I know picking me up on time was not her priority. :/

Another time, when I was in 9th grade IIRC, I got caught cheating in Miss A's class(I stupidly wrote a couple answers on my palm and got caught while trying to remove the ink afterward). She was the daughter of the head pastor and she was a bitch. I got sent to the principle's office(probably the first time since I attended school)and he was going to suspend me. I was so scared I though I was literally going to die.

I don't recall the events exactly, but I read the school handbook like I was a lawyer to find any technicality to save my ass and per their rules, since it was my first offense, they could give me 2 days of after-school detention instead of a suspension(which would have looked very bad on my school record). So that is what happened. Ironically, that bitch teacher was later fired for having a relationship with a student. Nyah-nyah! ;P

Another time I got in trouble for bringing an XS Magazine(free alt lifestyle rag newspaper)to biology class and me and my friend Mike got busted for looking at it(there was a pic of a nekkid man with a giant python wrapped around his body and obscuring his man-bits that we were laughing at--this was considered porn by the school). I think I managed to talk my way out of that one since the principle at the time knew I was a good student and never got into trouble. I don't really remember. Maybe I got a detention or perhaps a letter sent home to my parents. IDK.

Anyway, all the anxiety was always in anticipation of QoH throwing a fit.

Do you know that when I was having a disagreement with her a few weeks ago that "the truth" came out? She said to me, "You are always wrong about everything." It was kinda a small validation hearing it come out of her mouth. She has always treated everything that I've ever done like it was wrong, she just gave me the confirmation(not that I believe that everything that I do is wrong, just that she is going to act like it is. It's a no-win situation. Damned if you do and damned if you don't). It's a shitty and abusive way to have had to grow up.

Anyway, I don't have anxiety any more. Once you reach the point of no longer giving a shit and putting things in perspective, it all for the most part goes away. :)

These are special ones that you would like. ;D Besides, they were cut up into little bits and gave a nice tangyness. Usually whenever I've had sweet noodle kugel, it was made with that cheap canned fruit mix and the fruit doesn't have much flavor. I used evaporated milk as well as orange juice to give it more richness in flavor. And I forgot to mention that the top was sprinkled with slivered almonds. It was reeeeally good. Even QoH liked it. ;D

So, no parties to attend this weekend? And no Dr. Who? Whatever shall you do with yourself? ;P

Yep, and it was thick, too. A million and one rules to abide by. Those people seriously needed a life(or get laid like my friend Alex would have said ;P).

How's your weekend going so far?

I got to see 4 hours of MMA from 3 different promotions last night.
There was UFC, Bellator, and WSOF. The UFC one was just the prelims from the event in Mexico City. It had the most "interesting" fight of the night IMO, and by interesting I mean a very horrific and gory thing happened. If you Google Jessica Eye vs Leslie Smith or "Leslie Smith exploded ear" you shall see. The slo-mo replay was the best as it looked like a blood geyser spraying into the air. :) The chicks ear was damn near severed. It was pretty gross and she was pissed that they stopped the fight.

I kinda don't like the Bellator promotion as it's usually more hype than substance and the douchebags who fight for it remind me of WWE idiots.

The World Series of Fighting card had the best fights of the night IMO. There was a straw weight women's championship fight that was pretty good. Jessica Aguilar was the defending champ and I learned that she trains in Coconut Creek which is just up the road about 30 minutes. The Brazilian chick that she fought was pretty tough and it was a good fight for all 5 rounds. :)

And then there's OUAT tonight. It's supposed to be a 2 hour show, so I guess they'll be on hiatus afterward for a while. I hope it's good.

Maybe you should go for a visit. :)

I hope it's good.

And was it?

I made a little trip to the doctor today because of Thursday's panic attack and also because my toes are feeling little weird. The doc said that the toes thing could be related to my diabetes but it doesn't seem too serious yet. I've got another appointment with a diabetes specialist in early December. She'll do some more thorough investigating of mah toes.

Yep. I just don't understand these peeps who let their ears get cauliflowered. The commentators were saying that the wrestlers see it as a badge of honor. I think it looks disgusting and it's obviously something dangerous to have if your opponent punches it. It was kinda funny, though, as Smith kinda reminded me of the Monty Python Black Knight. The docs and trainers were trying to tell her that her ear was off and she was like, "Nah, I'm okay. It's just a little blood." LOL

A 30 minute drive would take me to another city. :o

It's technically another city, but the way we have such terrible urban sprawl here, one city is butted up to the next. It's all like one big continual city.

Maybe you should go for a visit. :)

IIRC, it was the American Top Team gym. They used to have one in Hallendale which is much closer. A couple times years ago for two different b-day occasions the two sisters that I worked with took me out and there were MMA places nearby. One was a BJJ place and another was the ATT in Hallendale. Neither looked to be open at the time. I wouldn't mind checking them out if I didn't have a certain person here to be a bitch about it. :/

And was it?

It wasn't too bad. The story lines are still confusing and I didn't like the fact that Regina had sex *twice* with the dirty drunken homeless man(Robin)and if I say more spoilers. :/

She'll do some more thorough investigating of mah toes.

Yeah, QoH had to go to the foot doc for that check-up. They just check the sensitivity and circulation.

Sounds like you need someone to give you an occasional foot massage. ;)

So what did the doc say about the panic attack? Did s/he give you any pills or advice in general?

Yeah, it got into the 50's last night. It's currently around 66F and rainy with a bit of wind. It's kinda crappy. I had to laugh at myself a bit--I'm a typical S Floridian--when it gets "cold", I just throw on a sweater over my t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. ;P

You expect me to be able to make a lot of moolah? I can't imagine it happening. I can't even imagine me being happy doing the kind of work that it would take to make so much money.

Have you always felt like that?

No, it's an accumulation of experiences of mine and how I tend to function. There's isn't a job that I've had that I've felt comfortable in and didn't stress me out. It has to do with people in general and uncertainty and failure - too many variables, too many worries, not ever feeling adequate, trying to be too perfect, over-reacting to mistakes I've made.
My mind does not let me forget a mistake, not even a minor one (merely perceived or real), and regularly one of them pops into my head and hits me over the head with a hammer. It's painful in a way.
If I suffer this level of stress long enough I know the depression will return. I don't want that.

I don't really know what's wrong with me. I know it's APD but not how my brain does that.

I went and made an apple pie.

Yummie! Much better than screaming at a massive cunt, methinks. ;P

There's isn't a job that I've had that I've felt comfortable in and didn't stress me out...My mind does not let me forget a mistake, not even a minor one

And unfortunately I know exactly how that feels and it really, really sucks. I was that was almost all my life from a small child up until just a bit after the whole CB fiasco. It's so horrible and stressful and the anxiety feels like it's going to kill you. And then the sense of shame and embarrassment over being like that. Yep, I totally understand.

The funny thing is, I should totally hate CB for what she did, but I don't. I see it as a turning point in my life. I was at such a low point there that I made the conscious decision that I absolutely cannot do this any more. It sounds so stupid, but it was basically doing an acting job until I took on the persona of the character. Hell, it's been 10 years, I'm still stuck in this bullshit situation with QoH, but at least I don't have the anxiety and ruminate over every little fucking thing that like you said is a mistake or could be perceived as a mistake.

I know the depression will return. I don't want that.

Yeah, depression *really* sucks. :/

I know this is going to sound like a real asshole thing to say, but the one big thing that I discovered that helped the most with the ruminating was drinking and getting a buzz. I remember thinking after I realized after drinking a beer and having a slight buzz that I was no longer thinking obsessively and saying to myself, 'No wonder people drink.' I'm not saying to take up drinking because I know you can't, but maybe the doc can give you a prescription for something? I know there are some peeps at the PD forum who got prescribed something to help with that. Dunno.

Anyway, you said you were going to write a TUF piece maybe?

Yeah, I intended to do that yesterday, but Ma Nature made a sudden and unexpected early visit and was being a megabitch and I just felt like shit. I still kinda feel like shit--the pain and general crampiness has switched to a nausea. :/ I'll try to get to it tonight.

Was that before or after you put on that list of funny FF tropes?

Months before.

How was the apple pie? Was it just a standard recipe or did you add something extra?

Just a basic crust recipe from off the side of the Crisco can and then some canned pie filling that had been sitting around a while and needed to be used. It turned out pretty good. I even took a pic(which I'll likely post). :)

hoping the damn game will tell me "no more moves" so that I can stop. ;P

Maybe you're OCPD as well as APD. ;P

Okay. So you only showed the list to your FF friend? I was under the impression you'd put it up on the forum.

I love me some pie pics. ;)

It's a dilemma I guess. I don't want to lose the game but I know I will, as it is partly a matter of luck. I could just quit but that would feel like a loss. Plus I've never even come close to this level before.

Yep. And you. And anyone who stumbles across it here. ;)
