OUAT 3.03 OM Effing G!!! WTF?!?

Holy crap, that was such a good episode!  And Arekinooooooo!!!!  You are sooooo lucky that you live six time zones away and I don't have your phone number or else you would have been awakened by me squealing like a little girl about who I thought Regina's love interest was supposed to be!!!  Aaaaaaaiiiiiiiiieeeee!!!!!! The guy with the Leeuw tattoo!!!  Of course, it turned out to be a big fake-out to me.  It wasn't the Dutchman after all, but someone else(not liking) even though he had a leeuw tattoo.  They certainly had me going there for a minute and I TOTALLY went into 13 year old girl mode.  Ya know, I don't think I've ever acted like a 13 year old girl before, even when I *was* a 13 year old girl, so that right there is definitely something!  ;P (In spite of my Evil Queen exterior, I'm just a big ol' sappy romantic at heart.  :)  )

So many feels!!! (Ya see, I'm still kinda in 13 y/o girl mode.  I need to stop hanging out with them on OUAT forums, it's rubbing off!  ;P)

LOL  Arekino is probably like, "What the hell has gotten into you?!?"

It *really* was a good episode.  They are still stealing my life to make a TV show, but it's totally fine if they are giving me a happy ending.  ;P  I just hope it's not *that guy* that Regina hooks up with.  I don't like that pairing.  That is totally wrong.  Wrong, wrong, wrong.  Not liking.  :(

There was just so much awesome in this episode and I can't talk about it because *spoilers*, but hey, strong performances, peeps admitting to wrong choices, character development, and a BIG surprise to me--showing that one character is a lesbian who has the hots for one of the princesses.  Not that that character being a lesbian is much of a surprise, but that they would introduce it on this show.

The not so awesome continues to be the craptastic CGI.  It is annoying.  I mean, c'mon!  This is supposed to be a Disney production.  Can't you all spare some coin to make the special effects a *little* better?

Anyhoo, next week's preview showed Peter Pan playing the Pan pipes.  So  :O  Didn't I say these writers play loose with mixing different characters?

have you ever heard of an ear-gasm?

No, but you sound like you just had one. :P

Are you still going to see the doc?

Believe it or not but my GP has gone on a two week vacation starting today. Now I have to go to an alternate GP which is theoretically okay but that GP now also gets some of the patients that my GP usually treats. I wanted to make an appointment this morning but couldn't get through on the phone. I'll have to try again tomorrow. I'm not too annoyed, it's not like it's an emergency.

I need to stop hanging out with them on OUAT forums

I'm sure it's not just a teen fest on those forums.

Arekino is probably like, "What the hell has gotten into you?!?"

I'm just glad to see your enjoying yourself. :)

It was certainly satisfying! I was thinking to myself, "Damn, that was so good that I need a cigarette...and I don't even smoke!" ;P

I ended up having 2 glasses of sherry to calm myself down enough to go to sleep. It didn't really work. :/

:O That's annoying when your doc takes a long vacation. At least they have someone to pick up the slack. It's good that your ear isn't that bad.

I'm sure it's not just a teen fest on those forums.

It's teens and 20's mostly. Then a hand-full of us old fogeys. I end up picking up young people slang. :/ Anyhoo, I was never allowed to act like a kid when I was a kid, nor act like a teen, or have any normal developmental stage in my life due to the oppressive momster. So I'm making up for it now!

I'm just glad to see your enjoying yourself. :)

:) I certainly am! :)

Is it still cold and wet over there? 'Cuz it has turned almost perfect here weather wise. :)

I'm soooooo happy for you. ;P

But seriously, when it's not raining the chill in the air is actually quite refreshing.

I was never allowed to act like a kid when I was a kid, nor act like a teen

So, what were you like in those days? Like a robot?

If I could get rid of the old woman, it would be blissful.

when it's not raining the chill in the air is actually quite refreshing.

It sounds a lot like how my grandfather described the weather in England. He said it's always cold, always raining, and always foggy. I guess you guys don't have the fog part too much. My grandfather was never bothered by the "cold" here because it was nothing like back home. From what my mother has told me, he used to sleep outside on the porch when the temps here got down as low as the 40'sF.

I looooove when it is dry here and chilly. To steal a line from one of my FB friends referring to that kind of weather, I love it so much that I want to make out with it! ;P <---with tongue! :O ;D

So, what were you like in those days? Like a robot?

Like a potted plant, or maybe a purse or some kind of accessory. At home, my mother was content if I just amused myself in the basement. She didn't like me bothering her. When we went out somewhere, then the show started. She would brag about how smart I was and this and that, but I was never allowed to leave her side. If we went somewhere where there were other kids, I wasn't allowed to run around and play with them. I had to sit next to my mother and not say anything. Very stifling. I was never allowed to have anyone from school over to the house. I never had sleepovers or anything like that. The excuse was that the other parents might be weird(completely missing the irony).

Since I went to a private school that was 7 miles away from where I lived(a 20 minute drive) I could never hang out with my friends outside of school. It was very isolating.

When I was 15-16 y/o, the normal time for kids to start learning how to drive, I wasn't allowed. The excuse was given that it would make my mother's insurance costs go up. There didn't seem to be that problem with my 1/2 bro. (there were other unfair b/s things going on also that I'm not going to get into, let's just say that it was fucked up)

Only when it became convenient for my mother when I was in HS was I allowed to go to friends houses, spend the night, etc. That way my friend Bren who had a car could take me to school/stay at her house afterward/or have her bring me home and my mother wouldn't have to worry with it conflicting with her work schedule. (she didn't work when I was younger and didn't start working again until I was in HS)

My whole life has been lived according to her wishes and whims. I'm at the point where I'm quite tired of it. I'm fucked because if I try to assert my own feelings or autonomy then there is a massive fight. She can be such a demon from hell that it's just easier to give into her than deal with the stress and anxiety of it. I just want to be free of her, but as long as she's alive, I can never be free. She would hunt me down to the ends of the earth. That's how much see wants to keep her claws sunk deep into her possession. :(

At least you had martial arts and that trip to Disney World. :)

So at what age did you learn to drive?

She would hunt me down to the ends of the earth.

Did you say that for dramatic effect? AFAIK your mother is not physically capable of such an endeavour.

You know, this description of your early life says more about your mother than about you. I get the feeling you're leaving stuff out. :)

I only did martial arts for maybe 1.5 - 2 years formally IIRC. And Disney...that reminds me of a post that I was thinking of doing showing the contrast between my mother and normal peeps.

So at what age did you learn to drive?

28

No, she would. I think she's far more physically capable than she acts. She has always been a big complainer and exaggerator. You should have seen the lengths that she went to when I was friends with the crazy blogger.

You know, this description of your early life says more about your mother than about you.

But it shows why I am the way I am.

I get the feeling you're leaving stuff out. :)

If I told it all, it would fill volumes. The comments thread here has a character limit! But hey, if there's anything you want to know, go ahead and ask.

I was just over at the OUAT forum. Seems I have a comrade in arms now. I'm assuming it's a 'she'. She brought up the thing about everyone being hung-up on the 'Regina raped Grahame' thing. She basically slapped that down with the same argument that I had. I couldn't resist adding my 2 cents worth of snark. ;P

I think some peeps just aren't too familiar with male anatomy and how all that works. There would have to have been some "magic" little blue pills involved, or maybe a Priapism Spell to enchant his willy. She'd likely have had to tie him down, too. ;P

You could also say that it shows who you are in spite of how your mother raised you.

Maybe I should just wait until you publish your autobiography? :)

There was that question that you didn't want to answer here on your blog. Sorry, I'm just the curious type.

It's all about having power over someone. Making it so they can't say 'No'. It's still rape. It's still not funny.

In other news, I've had my right ear cleaned this morning and I've been given ear drops to fight the infection. My left ear will hopefully be cleaned Monday. I got a nice, young female doctor this time. She was very professional.

I don't remember what that question was. Ask me in an email and I might answer. ;D

In that case, Regina was in the same boat when she was forced to marry the king. A lot of people who are abused in that way go on to do the same to others.

I've had my right ear cleaned this morning and I've been given ear drops to fight the infection.

Yay!!! No more green and yellow ooze and the alien organisms are being evicted! Huzzah!

I got a nice, young female doctor this time. She was very professional.

So she didn't rub her boobs against you shoulders as she was taking a look? Or try to cop a feel? ;P

IDK, seems like a cute guy like you would get more flirting action. I'd probably try to cop a feel. ;P ;D

Ah, but would you also clean the green and yellow ooze from my ears?. ;P

You know, about 20 years ago I had my appendix taken out. At some point after the operation this attractive looking female nurse comes round to check my pulse. So she takes my wrist in her hand and counts the heartbeats while looking at her watch. Now, the fingers of my hand that she holds are brushing against the part of her uniform that covers her breasts. I don't think she notices but find the situation a little awkward anyway and decide to try to retract my fingers away from her. Unfortunately, it doesn't work and then I start to worry that maybe she noticed my fingers moving and thinks I tried to touch her boobs. I just awkwardly gave up trying to not feel embarrassed and hoped the procedure would end quickly.

Sure if I had one of those water jet thingies that they use. I'm not really grossed out by pus and the like. I'm one of those weirdos that would probably squeeze your back zits.

I don't think she notices but find the situation a little awkward anyway

Well, if it happens again, just close your eyes and think of England. ;P

When I was a little kid, I got more than my fair share of boobage pressed against me from nurses and the like. Always awkward. :/

I just had a thought regarding Miss Regina and her twue wuv. I'll try to do it without spoiling for Mr. Arekino. :)

We the viewer got to see who the twue wuv was supposed to be but Regina never went in to meet him. If it is possible for you to have more than one true love, then perhaps it was not meant for Regina to be his true love at this particular place in time, but that he would be her true love at some time in the future. Regina would not have have even know about the guy or even met him if it hadn't been for Tink using the pixie dust to reveal him.

Like Regina, this guy could have a first true love(who later dies, same as with Regina and Daniel)and then Regina would be his second true love, as he'd be with Regina.

So, Ha! I think I have figured out this little conundrum. Li'l ol' fatalist-leaning me has figured it out! I rule! ;P ;D

That's right, you heard it here first, folks! :)

You little shit, Blogger! You ate my comment!

Anyway, trying to re-type what was just lost...

I had a thought regarding Miss Regina and her twue wuv...

We the viewers got to see who the true love was supposed to be but she never did because she didn't go in to meet him. Since it has been established that you can have more than one true love, perhaps Regina was not his true love for that time. Perhaps he was supposed to have another be his *first* true love, then after she dies, Regina becomes his *second* true love, just as he would be *her* second true love. I think everything happened as it was supposed to. It was only because of Tink's using the pixie dust that Regina was even aware of this guy to begin with, as she would have never had the opportunity to meet this guy otherwise.

So yes, he's Regina's *future* true love. The woman that we know the guy to be paired with initially and who died would have been his first true love.

So, Ha! I figured it out! I totally rule. Go me! ;P ;D

That's right, you heard it here first folks! :)

Sure. Families with PD peeps have no boundaries and think nothing of asking their kids to do gross stuff like that. I think nothing of it now.

How come? Were you in the hospital a lot?

When I was very little, it seems like I was taken to the doc a lot. I guess for all the usual checkups and shots and whatnot. I was *not* a good patient when it came to getting shots.(I'm still not) Lots of nurses trying to give me hugs and comfort me and boob pressage. As a little girl, getting pressed against some strange woman's boobs was not my thing. :/
