OUAT Season 3 wOOt!

Before I get started, here is that article I mentioned in the previous comments.

But what I *really* want to know is were you guys(Arekino and Co.)all like this or this?  ;P

Okay then!  Last night the season premiere of OUAT probably saved me from having permanent damage done to my right hand.  I called it quits outside because there was a special season recap on before the season premiere and I wanted to get my recording device all set up for both and then take a quick shower before the show got started.

I hadn't looked at any OUAT fan sites or spoilers in the previous week because I didn't want to be tainted, but I did remember some bets taking place about who was going to get heart-ripped and who would be doing the ripping.  All the peeps who said that Regina would be getting her rip on within the first 30 minutes were DEAD WRONG.  That honor went to someone else.  The rip-ee richly deserved it, though.  I cheered that one.  ;D  Also, someone else who deserved it got something ripped but I'm not going to spoil for those who are across the pond and a season behind.

Regina *did* get her fireball flinging on.  Hey, I can't blame her.  When annoying idiots are being indecisive, *someone* has to make some executive decisions.  And what better way to take care of shit than to start flingin' the fireballs?  She also had a bit of an MMA throw-down with Snow, but not enough in my opinion.  ;P

Anyhoo, not really too much happened as it was only the first episode, but I think this Neverland themed season is going to be chock full of WTF?  And the best line of the episode(without really spoiling anything)was from Henry when he said that his mom was coming for him...BOTH of them!  LOL  Yeah, take *that* bitches!  I guess now he's kinda glad that one of his moms is the Evil Queen who's a badass sorceress.  ;D

Nah, it's because of your obeying her because you are her slave. :P (I know, she won't stop nagging you.)

Sorry to hear your hand hurts. Maybe you can put some ice on it?

Do you record all episodes?

Evil Queens rock! :P

I know you are truth telling in a joking way there. I am in a sense. If I don't do what she wants, it becomes so much worse. If only I had a magic mirror to shove her through. ;P (Probably why I like Regina so much...like looking at my own life in a way.)

Sorry to hear your hand hurts. Maybe you can put some ice on it?

I wrapped it in an ice pack that night but it seemed to make the sharp nerve pains worse. It was a little wonky yesterday but last night it seemed to be better. It hasn't bothered me yet today. Maybe the bao ding balls/pressure point massages helped?

Do you record all episodes?

Yes. Just in case there are *interruptions* by someone(it is almost a given) or if I miss some dialogue. I also like to look at it a second time to pick up on things I might have missed the first time.

Evil Queens rock! :P

Yes, they do! ;P

I think they're giving Regina some Xul behaviors now ie giving physical smackdowns. LOL If only I had the ability to lob fireballs. :::sigh::: I always wanted to be able to do that ever since Drew Barrymore in Firestarter. ;D If I could *really* do that? Shit would get real *real* fast! ;P ;D

I'm fairly sure they'll show it in a future flashback, but Regina alluded to a beef she had with a mermaid in an ep last season. Now *this* season, right off the bat, we can see that the mermaids are *hostile*. I'm sure there will be some awesome cat fights to come. ;D

Ya know, I just had a thought. Lana P has been on about wanting to play Ursula for a while. It just came to me, knowing what we know about Neverland from what they showed us in the first episode, what if Ursula is actually Regina? Like in one of those Star Trek episodes(I think it was Star Trek) where they go to the planet and whatever is in peeps minds/emotions comes to life? In the first episode, we see that emotions/actions cause things to happen in Neverland. It would be cool if somehow Ursula was a product of Regina's mind/emotions. So there, writers. There's another idea you can steal from me. ;P

Oh! And the other captain dude has dark hair.(from what I read at a spoiler site) Does he have blue eyes, too? And is his personality partly based on De Ruyter? Will he be Regina's love interest? Y'all can start sending me some $$$ any time, now. ;P

And BTW, Arekino--was it video #1 or #2?

Ah, good.

De Ruyter

You mean Van Der Vecken? :)

was it video #1 or #2?

Mostly #1. No make up or costumes were involved.

I don't know who you mean. Are you talking about Van Der Decken the Flying Dutchman?

The character that I was writing I based a little bit of his personality on De Ruyter because he was kinda awesome. :)

No make up or costumes were involved.

That's too bad. Because if you ever do costumes and Darth Maul make-up I'm gonna hafta get a pic of that! ;P

Hand update: Since I'm having to deal with the old woman and Ma Nature, I've had a steady amount of painkillers in my system for the past 3 days. I think there may be a correlation there. I only took a small dose today and there's a bit of a twinge in my index finger in the knuckles. I think the pain pills have kept the inflammation down.

Luckily for me, it will be raining all this week so I don't think I'll be able to cut anything with the electric saw. The old woman is obsessed with getting *her* 2 bulk trash pick-ups for the fiscal year and she called on Monday for her second one. Now she's obsessed with having the avocado trees cut(even though there is fruit on both)and I'm the person tasked to do it. She's paranoid that they'll "fall on the house" if there is a storm. One is far enough away that it wouldn't "fall" on anything. The other one could use a bit of pruning. She's so stupid. She thinks that they are just going to fall like the way you see a lumberjack cutting a tree down on TV. It doesn't actually happen that way in real life with that kind of tree. But hey, why let reality stop a good delusion? ::facepalm::

Ah, right, of course.

And you shall have one. If that ever happens. In fact, if I ever wear make up in the future then I will send you a pic of it.

It doesn't actually happen that way in real life with that kind of tree.

I guess. Could a storm pull them out of the ground and fling them at the house?

Could a storm pull them out of the ground and fling them at the house?

No. That is pure fiction that people in the media try to get peeps to think is true. The reality is, a big branch may snap and fall or if the tree has a big enough canopy it could get tipped over pulling some of the roots out of the ground.

One of the things they always like to play is "scientists" shooting a 2x4 piece of wood out of a cannon. They'll be like, "This is the force that a 120mph hurricane can fling a 2x4 through your window." Well, no. Not exactly. The laws of physics are a stubborn thing. I was talking to an engineer at a shutter company some years ago and he was telling me about all this kinda stuff and debunking all the panic mongering that the idiots on TV do.

Anyway, I had a weird thing happen last night. I was up very late(3am)looking at spoilers for the next episode of OUAT(I won't be doing *that* any more--too spoil-y) and then I went to bed. I was awakened some time in the night/early morning by what sounded like a woman muttering something next to my bed. I turned toward the noise and there was nobody there. I'm really tired of these stupid sleep distortions that I have! Stupid wonky brain!

I have no idea what time it happened. I wasn't wearing my glasses of course, and the digital clock on the dresser is too small for me to see without my specs, and besides, if I got up to put my glasses on it would take longer for me to get back to sleep. As it was, I couldn't get back to sleep. When I finally did, I didn't wake back up until 1:20pm. :O I was shocked that the old woman didn't barge in around noon to say something.

Anyway, whoever writes the synopses for the OUAT episodes puts in too many details. Probably a Canadian. All the Canadian promos give too much information unlike the American promos which give just enough to get you interested without giving too much away.

And there were pics, too! The Queen was wearing some...very *distracting* outfits. :O

I'm not saying it's ghosts but... it's ghosts. Or aliens. :P

Makes sense if you go to sleep at 3am. You got about 8 hours of shuteye.

I was shocked that the old woman didn't barge in around noon to say something.

Eh. :)

Nah, it's just that darn pesky lucid stage between dreaming and sleeping. I've developed the ability to sorta detect what is going on so I'm not freaked out about it. There is this "rushing wind" sound that sometimes happens just before the really weird shit like sleep paralysis happens. I can catch it in time now and reposition my body and then it stops.

Any explanation for that?

I think she was busy in the kitchen. When I woke up and went down there, I mentioned that I was surprised that she didn't wake me up earlier. She then takes a sarcastic attitude with me to the effect that I'm a big girl and why do I need her to wake me up, can't you wake yourself up? That was not at all what I meant, but she can't miss an opportunity to be a bitch. Then she accuses *me* of being sarcastic. I wasn't sarcastic at all, I was just making a statement. Ugh.

Are we talking Lady Gaga or Princess Amydala?

It's as if she's keeping Jean Paul Gaultier as a prisoner to be her personal designer. Very stylish/unusual but with lots of boobage. So I guess more like Lady Gaga. ;P

I can tell you from experience that those outfits are indeed the result of Dark Magic. It requires a magic called the Push-up Bra/Corset, and that is a *very* evil thing. Just ask anyone who has worn one. ;P They make wimminz with smaller boobs(like me and Regina)look like we have awesome cleavage. ;D The price of that magic is that the corset makes you unable to breathe very well. :/

Who is she trying to attract with that, you think? Or is she just messing with peoples minds (and other organs :))?

Yeah, totally. Although, some one said before that maybe she keeps a sweatshop staffed with elves or she just magics the outfits into existence. The 'sweatshop' part made me LOL.

Who is she trying to attract with that, you think? Or is she just messing with peoples minds (and other organs :))?

I'm glad you asked that. I was thinking about that myself. The men obviously will be stopped by, "OMG, boobage! Can't. Look. Away!" And the women, like myself, will be stopped in our tracks pondering the magic that goes into such an ensemble. I'm like, "Holy heck! How in Hades is that even possible? What kind of engineering is going on under there to make *any* of that possible? And how are the boobs able to sit up all front and center in a gown *that* deeply decolletage? It's not possible without Dark Magic. The Force is strong with this one. She is to be envied and feared!" ;P

Have you ever worn one?

Yes. :D

For what occasion?

Didn't I send you a pic of my Evil Queen-looking graduation pic? I was wearing one for that. A Very Evil black bustier. I still have it and just for shits and giggles I manages to squeeze myself into it the other night for experimental reasons. ;P

I have one in a cream color, too. It has all the extra accoutrements but I can't recall ever wearing it for any occasion. :/

Yes, you did. In April 2010. I had to look it up in my list of emails. A beautiful young Xul in a beautiful dress.

Nice. Does the dress still fit you as well?

I can't recall ever wearing it for any occasion. :/

The black one does sound better looking. I suppose you also need a suitable type of clothing for it, in cream color.

Cream color, is that skin color?

A beautiful young Xul in a beautiful dress.

Thanks! :)

That was the 'unofficial' grad pic, though. That happened under better circumstances. The official one seriously turned into a Regina and Cora(her ma)moment. It was one of the most awful experiences of my life. :(

Does the dress still fit you as well?

I have no idea actually. I imagine it would. I'm pretty much the same height and weight, just that the weight is distributed much better! ;P

Hmmm, just had a quick look in my closet. It wasn't where I thought it was. I found that horrible Cora-esque one that my mother bought me for commencement ceremonies. :/

IDK, it must have found its way to the deeper and darker recesses of my closet. I wouldn't have gotten rid of it--I *did* really like that one. It was definitely suited to my style and personality. :) ;P ;D

Now I'm gonna have to do some digging o find it. :O

Cream color, is that skin color?

I guess it could be if I developed jaundice. ;P

It has more of a subtle yellow tint to it rather than a beige one. I find that beige blends in with my skin color better--less contrast. If you're wearing something that is more see-through/finer material, you don't want your bra or undergarments to show through. But sometimes, depending on the cut or material, you want to have a bra or whatnot that matches in color whatever the color of the dress or blouse is.

And how has your weekend been going, my dearest Arekino Ninja?

It was pretty quiet. I did get this craving for drop so when I went for muesli and milk I also bought some "zoute griotten" (although I really just wanted some black "zoute drop").

I also studied a bit (still the haskell thing).

We had some spaghetti today for dinner and I managed to grate (with the cheese grater ) off some skin off my left ring finger. It hurt and I bled but I'm okay now.

An uneventful day, really. How was your Saturday?

Nah, I think it's in the garment bag to the far end. I'll have to move some crap so I can get to it.

Speaking of that portal to hell, I had one of those damn 'rushing wind' sensations again while I was sleeping. I'm getting good at detecting it and moving so I don't get any sleep paralysis. Then, a while ago, I could have *sworn* that someone knocked on the front door. The old woman was in the kitchen and she would normally come out and look out the window to see if someone was there. She did not. So I came downstairs and looked through the peep hole in the door. No one was there. I really hope the old woman was just banging something in the kitchen but it damn sure sounded like a knock at the door. I hope I'm not starting to hallucinate things. Being schizophrenic would really suck big time. :/

I also bought some "zoute griotten" (although I really just wanted some black "zoute drop").

Such a Nederlander! ;P

I'm not crazy about licorice flavored anything. D:

:O That really sucks! Were you having vampires or some variety of undead over for dinner? Cuz they'd like that sort of thing. ;P

I've managed to do that before, though. Most unpleasant. Glad you are okay.

An uneventful day, really. How was your Saturday?

Other than my obvious brain issues, not much. Just sitting in front of the TV watching the 'Canes football game. I was planning to drag out the big ladder and try to cut some of the high branches on the mango tree, but it's kinda hot ATM. Maybe I'll do that after the game. I don't want to get too involved with anything tomorrow as Sunday is OUAT day and there will be serious *issues* if something was to cause me to miss it. >:(

That could be annoying, yes. But you probably just dreamed it. You must trust in your brain, Padawan. :)

I'm not crazy about licorice flavored anything. D:

Yeah, I've read it's a typical North-European thing. I don't eat a lot of candy but drop is hard to resist especially the types with salmiak in it. It makes my mouth water just thinking of it.

Cuz they'd like that sort of thing. ;P

Nope, I don't share my own blood. (=,..,=)

No. IDK, it's almost like the same sensation like just before you faint, there's this weird auditory thing that sounds like rushing wind, only different. It's hard to explain.

But you probably just dreamed it.

I was definitely wide awake when I heard the knock at the door. The stuff that happens when I'm asleep doesn't concern me that much as it's a common phenomenon from what I've read on the 'toobs. Hallucinating while I'm awake is an altogether different thing. :/

It makes my mouth water just thinking of it.

:O

Ya know, one time for an employees Christmas party, we went to this Greek restaurant. One of the things that they served as part of the party was shots of ouzo. I flat out refused to drink it, even with the waiters insisting and everyone trying to peer pressure me into it. The fried squid, tentacles and all...that I had no problem with. Mmmmm, tentacles! ;D

So you'd never have to worry about me bogarting your licorice! ;P

I've read it's a typical North-European thing.

Greeks, Turks, and Italians seem to like that flavor, too.

Well, I didn't drag the ladder out and cut on any mango trees today. I weed-whacked instead. Did the whole back yard. I suppose I'll mow the rest of the yard tomorrow before OUAT.

Speaking of...I can't find my EQ gown! :O

I searched my closet and it wasn't there. I found a bunch of stuff that looks like stuff from Regina's closet, though. I guess we shop at the same places. ;P

I wonder where it could be? Hmmm, this has the Queen of Heart's fingerprints all over it, methinks. >:(

Hallucinating while I'm awake is an altogether different thing. :/

Ouzo doesn't have salmiak in it, it's anise-flavored. But rest assured I will never try to force feed you any licorice. :P

No, that asshole made his delivery on Friday and is always stealthy about it. If only I had a barrier spell... :::shakes fist:::

It all tastes the same to me...and I don't like it! ;P

I'm not entirely sure. The end of the 2nd season maybe. I think the last episode ended with the breaking of Regina's Big Spell. I seem to remember black clouds washing over the town and the woods.

Anyway, have lots of fun watching OUAT. I myself still have to wait a short while.

Yes, you are a full season + 2 episodes of S3 behind now. :/

It's not the mythological Pan is it? 'Cause that's a whoooole different character.

He has introduced himself as Peter Pan, but with this series and the way they mix characters and stories together, who knows what lies ahead?

The funny thing is, they really *do* have Regina acting like me now. They actually had her say that she could "poof" them--totally my verbiage. And she's going along with the group so far(yeah, only 2 episodes in), but I can tell that she's *totally* not liking it(I sure as hell would not be liking it. ;P).
