Random thoughts on OUAT

Sometimes I think I just *might* have too much free time on my hands.  LOL

The OUAT fan site forums crack me up. Some of those peeps are hilarious! And I'm finding that I agree more with the opinions of the non-Americans.

It's amazing how much peeps in the rest of the world know about US law because of our TV shows.  It's just like that sarcastic Rammstein song's chorus: We all live in America!

"Her head is a bag of cats."  Best and funniest metaphor for crazy that I've ever seen.  I've been chuckling about that one for days. (Thanks to Sandy from the Caymans)  I'm sooooo stealing that!

My mother is JUST like Regina's mom Cora, except without the magic.  Unfortunately, several other peeps on that forum claim that, too.

I am pleased to find out that the COMPLETE first season DVD of OUAT is at Target for just a bit under $40.  Soon.

My bedroom looks like a cross between Regina's office, EQ's castle,  and Mr. Gold's shop.   LOL

I wonder if there's any connection between having certain tastes in things and being raised by someone who is likely NPD?

One has to be very vigilant so that one doesn't inadvertently become one's mother.  O.o

That apple is very, very red. Blood red one might even say. Perfect. :)

(the nails fit the pic as well :)

My bedroom looks...

...like a lot of work to clean. But also lots of fun. I like Gold's shop actually. Shops like that are treasure troves.

It may not be a matter of taste in things but of creating a space for yourself where you feel like your personality isn't being drained from your soul.

That apple... Was a pain to carve in great haste and get a pic of before being discovered by the nosy one. the nails :D Nice, huh?

...like a lot of work to clean. Yeah, and I hate cleaning. Magic would come in handy for that.

I like Gold's shop actually I have one item in particular that I think you would like.

I had such weird energy last night, like an aggression. Do you ever feel like you want to physically fight someone, not really to hurt someone, but like pent up aggression? It was weird. IDK if it's some kind of subconscious frustration manifesting in a need for domination or what. Anywho, I worked out with weights instead. Then I was still all wired up and had a large vodka/tonic and that did shit-all. Then I was laying in bed past 3am wide awake. Then I got up around 10:30-ish which is kinda early from what I've been doing lately. Now I feel kinda blah. I need to go mow the lawn now.

Suitable for the picture. I personally am not a fan of such long nails on a woman. Or on myself. :)

What would that be?

Do you ever feel like you want to physically fight someone

There are moments, yes.

such long nails on a woman. Or on myself. :) They are not that long. Maybe 3 or 4mm. They're white and clean so they are a bit more noticeable. And I can't stand long nails on a man. It looks gross. I don't like ones chewed down to the nub either.

What would that be? A Star Trek 3D chess set.

Well I got my *fight* out of my system. I had an epic 3 hour battle with a rebellious yard yesterday. It took a bit until after sundown to finally subdue it. I was exhausted and went to bed around 11:30pm. Now my biceps are sore from wielding the weed whacker and the the wind conjurer. ;P

Really? Where did you get that from?

A gift from my dad maybe 15 years ago. Shocking, right?

Today, the Queen of Hearts has turned me into Cinderella. As if battling the rebellious lawn yesterday wasn't bad enough, now I'm battling the dust goblins and cleaning my dragons.

Were you into Star Trek at the time? (I guess that would be Star Trek Voyager?)

Is it still in the original packaging?

turned me into Cinderella

I'm not even allowed to do that sort of work. My mother won't let me cause she considers it her task in this house. I offered to help - I mean, I used to do this kind of stuff for 15 years in my own house - but she declined.

And my dad is the one who does the gardening work. Not that there's a lot of gardening to do in winter, but still.

I feel a bit useless sometimes.

(I guess that would be Star Trek Voyager?) I was into the original, TNG, and DS9. I didn't like Voyager.

Is it still in the original packaging? Yes, but it wasn't like it was in fancy packaging. It was in a plain brown box and packed in Styrofoam. I took it out and fiddled around with it a bit but since there were so many chess pieces and it would be a bit of a nightmare to clean(and I didn't want it to get dirty/messed up) I decided that it would be best if it returned to its original box. It would be wonderful if I had one of those big glass dome thingies like they put over curios. That way I could display it and only have to worry about keeping the glass dome clean.

I feel a bit useless sometimes. That's a shame. You should hop a flight over here. I would find all sorts of uses for you! :P I've always wanted a manservant. :P :P :P

A lot of people didn't, it seems. I thought it was okay.

You should hop a flight over here.

Okay, I'm on my way!

....just kidding... :)

....just kidding... :) Too bad.

Ya know, if you wanted to clean something around here or do some gardening, I wouldn't try to stop you. I may be evil(part-time) but I'm not that evil. >:D Ya have to let the subjects get what they desire once in a while(especially reasonable things like cleaning). I don't want mopey, demoralized peeps walking around. Gotta keep that hope alive. ;P

How much snow? Enough to do *cool* stuff?

One of my latest bucket list entries is to live in a place where there is a shit-ton of snow, enough to make an enormous snow dragon in the front of my house. It would have its mouth open and you'd have to walk into its mouth to get in the front door. It would rule.

Are you going to do something interesting with your snow? At least put some down the back of someone's shirt! ;P

Check your email for proof of snow :) (and approximate amount)

Are you going to do something interesting with your snow?

Take a walk on it?

live in a place where there is a shit-ton of snow,

Iceland has always seemed like an interesting place to live in to me. Hot geysers and cold snow.

Iceland seems like a fun place to visit. I always thought it'd be kinda neat to soak in a hot spring while gazing out upon a snow covered landscape. But the food there sucks(so I hear).

There's a place in Japan with those hot springs...

Didja know that there is a 'warm' spring just a few hours from here in Florida?

Maine or New Hampshire would be a good place for a second home for snow frolicking.

Okay, now that I figured out which email account you sent that to...

My mother has the damn timing of a telemarketer. Grrr...

...looks like a couple centimeters then. And I take it those are the new boots? Nice. :)

Yes. They are warm and comfortable.

warm and comfortable. I was going to ask if they were warm.

I hope I chose the right one. It's fine. It was either one or the other.

It has been warm here since Christmas. :( Ma Nature...she mocks me.
