Queens and Other Wild Things

I am well on my way to beating that damn ape and becoming the Queen of Kong.

***UPDATE***

I got to the 22nd level and there is no kill screen on this version.  So I could just go on ad infinitum ad nauseum or just go ahead and crown myself the Queen of Kong.  Any guesses as to what I will do?

Hell yeah, that's what I did.  It's good to be the Queen!

Speaking of queens, just a couple thoughts I had about two of them from OUAT:  First of all, one of the upcoming episodes is going to feature Cora's back-story as the miller's daughter.  I am wondering if she was married off to King George.  He seems the right age and he seems to lust after gold and a son.  I am wondering if the firstborn that the miller's daughter had to give to Rumple in the deal turned out to be Regina.

IIRC, Rumple told Regina that he held her as a baby and that because she was so sweet and without malice as a girl he wondered if she was even in the same family(as her mother, and maybe her father?).  King George is just as mean and nasty as Cora so maybe it'll turn out that he is Regina's real father?  I just wanted to be the first to say it, since I hadn't seen that theory on any of the Once forums.

Then that would make James and David Charming the adoptive brothers of Regina, thereby making Henry Jr's family tree that much more complicated! :D  LOL

Well, I hope you spanked that monkey when you reached the top, Queen of Kong. :P

Re: UOAT, spoiler warnings? :/

I've been taking a lot of walks over the weekend. Trying to lose some of those Christmas and New Year calories. Maybe even grow a little muscle. It's been really good walking weather. I wish it would snow though.

Re: UOAT, spoiler warnings? :/ Oh, sorry. You do know that the phrase :::spoiler alert::: has been banned, right?

I guess we are on the same page as far as losing those holiday pounds. It's amazing what a few good craps can do as well as lifting a few weights. ;P I wish I lived in an area that was good for walks.

Maybe even grow a little muscle. When I first read that I thought it said 'grow a little mustache'. O.o

I wish it would snow though. I wish that, too, but I don't think my wish will be granted. :(

I.. I... wasn't aware of that... Was there a memo? :)

I guess that's one way to lose weight. :D

Or does "craps" have a meaning I'm not aware of?

I don't think my wish will be granted. :(

You don't have one of those indoor sky facilities in the neighbourhood? Next best thing.

I took a walk again today and now my left knee is starting to hurt a bit. I think I'll skip a few days.

Was there a memo? Yeah, I guess you didn't see it. It was on the 'Phrases and Words Overused in 2012 Now Banned in 2013' list on the intertoobs. Fer reelz.

Or does "craps" have a meaning I'm not aware of? I meant that in the standard way. I guess you could lose some monetary weight at the craps table at the casino?

Veggies are very good for weight loss. Fewer calories to burn and they clean out the poop chute on the way out. It's a win-win! :)

You don't have one of those indoor ski facilities in the neighbourhood? Nope. There is an ice rink up in the ass-end of Palm Beach County that does a pile of "snow" for the kiddies on certain days.

It'd just be easier to set my ice dispenser on the fridge to "crushed" and get a cup-full and dump it on my head. :\

Sorry 'bout the knee. It sucks to get old and rickety, huh? ;P

You could always do some pushups and situps in the mean time. Those are always good for muscles.

This is good for a mustache. :P (good flavor saver, too!)

Yep.

This is good for a mustache. :P (good flavor saver, too!)

I had a full beard and mustache once, 25 years ago or so. I never like it when my chin gets all hairy and warm and prickly. There's some satisfaction in shaving, making my face feel all smooth again.

So do you like a mustache on a man then?

So do you like a mustache on a man then? For a character, yes. I like interesting facial hair--mustaches that curl upwards, flavor savers, mutton chops.

But back in the real world I think a shaved face is better for smooching. Smooth is better than scratchy for that purpose. :D

BTW, found that pic while doing a little research for some characters that I was think of writing about.

That's Michiel de Ruyter, a famous Dutch admiral from the 17th century. Coincidentally the Royal Dutch Navy has been around for 525 years and there was a celebration recently where they also put a wreath at MdR´s grave.

So you're still writing?

Michiel de Ruyter by Ferdinand Bol is a kick-ass painting. It tells a great story with all those details. I meant to look up ol' Michiel's bio but hadn't done so yet.

That pic inspired me to do a little fan-fic story. I was lucid dreaming it just before I woke up today. I come up with my best stuff when I'm half conscious. ;P

So you're still writing? Yeah, now that I've had the proper inspiration. I wrote down what I was dreaming about just after I woke up today. I guess I'll make a post of it since it just my own personal fan-fic and nothing to do with spoilers.
