My ass is killing me! Too many lunges and squats yesterday. Ugh. I need an ass massage. ;)

My abs are fine after 300 situps, though. I'm working my way back up to 500 like I did on Christmas Eve.

Makes sense if half of it is gone. ;P

I need an ass massage.

It's just the result of a build up of lactic acid, right? It will be gone in a day or so. It probably helps to walk around a bit.

How many lunges and squats did you do?

It's more of me neglecting to exercise it for a while so the muscles got strained a bit. It is mostly better now. I ended up doing a self massage last night (get your mind out of the gutter! ;P) to get some relief. :/

How many lunges and squats did you do?

2 sets of 20 for each side. So you can see it really wasn't much and I've obviously been neglecting that area.

I found a workout show on one of the religious channels. They just do simple exercises that anyone can do at home, but they're pretty effective. I did the quads/abs ones along with them yesterday. It was stuff I normally do, but they were doing it for time instead of reps so I feel it a little in my front quads.

Today on their show they did chest and arms. I'll keep in mind a couple exercises that they did so I can incorporate them into my next arm workout.

Well, QoH is in bitch mode today. She seems to go in cycles. Usually she's okay for a day or 2 then gets bitchy and has to take out her frustrations on me. :/

Were you looking for such a show or were you just zapping channels religiously? :)

She seems to go in cycles.

Maybe THAT's the result of a build up of lactic acid then. Or some kind of acid anyway. ;P

You need some kind of base to neutrolize it. Or milk. Pour some milk over her. Or in her. ;D

Yeah, kinda. Since the Veria channel was removed (they had lots of different types of workout shows- yoga, tai chi, pilates, etc) I've been missing them.

Pour some milk over her. Or in her.

She consumes almost 1 liter of milk per day. Doesn't seem to help. ;P

In other news, there was a mass shooting at Ft Lauderdale airport today. 5 dead, 8 others wounded. Our shopping plans are out the window since Penn Dutch is near the airport. :/ Never a dull moment down here.

Arekino, I hear you're having fog. We had fog a couple mornings ago. I see from someone on fb that there is snowzezz in your country, just not in your area. :/ We're supposed to get some cold air tonight, but no snow like Georgia and NC. :(

Yeah, I read about that. Some guy from Alaska apparently.

Nah, we had snow as well. It was only centimeters and it will be gone by tomorrow most probably but it is the first official snow of this winter, locally speaking.

Maybe later in january we'll get some real snowfall.

Did ya now? I guess the weather report on the Internet was wrong. The temperature they showed didn't seem cold enough for snow.

We were supposed to have a cold front come through today. Supposed to have rain. It didn't rain, just the briefest sprinkle with lots of wind earlier. Then it was calm for a couple hours then more wind and some misty precipitation. All the wind knocked a big urn over on our front porch. I righted it (heavy damn thing with a bigass plant in it) and then the second round of wind knocked it over again. I'll pick it back up tomorrow. I'm not messing with it tonight.

Not much on to watch today. No MMA. I'm watching a movie called Forsaken with Kiefer and Donald Sutherland and Demi Moore. I see Brian Cox is in it, too.

I'll be watching the 2nd episode of the new series of Sherlock this sunday evening. The last series aired 3 years ago. It's only 3 long episodes per series. The next series will probably air in 2030 or so if I'm lucky.

Actually there are rumors that there will not be next series as Sherlock might die for realzies this time. The first episode of this series received quite a lot of criticism BTW.

Oh, surprisingly, the snow is stil hanging around.

LOL, just like with Salem and Les Revenants. Although the latter one finished. Not sure what's up with Salem other than Marilyn Manson is playing some sort of Sweeney Todd character. Talk about creative anachronism. ;P

the snow is still hanging around.

Kewl. Did you make a snowman or flop down and make snow angels? ;P

We got our first real "cold" snap last night/today. I think it got down to like 10C or something. It's supposed to go up to 18C or so this afternoon and then get back to warm again in the next day or so. It's nice while it lasts. :)

Uuurgh, I'm sooo sore! I cut down 2 massive tree trunks that were dead from one of the black olive trees in front of the house. Damn things were about 12 inches in diameter and about 8 feet long. What a pain in the ass cutting those things with an electric chainsaw with a 9 inch blade. I had to keep cutting little wedges and nibbling away a little at a time. And just when you think it's cut through enough to topple, NO! That hard AF wood will hold up that huge thing on like a half inch piece. I had to rock it with all my might to get it to snap off and tumble to the ground, and had to do it twice! I somehow hurt my left elbow in the process- bashed my funny bone and scraped off a piece of skin. Also have some scratches on my arms.

Then I had to cut the trunks in 2 pieces and carry those heavy-ass things to the trash pile. I think 3 of them were like 60 pounds and the last one felt like 80 pounds. Needless to say my back is all wonky now. I could use a chiropractic adjustment. :/

And to add insult to injury, QoH wanted me to make pizzas from scratch for dinner. Good thing for her I'm always up for eating pizza.

How big were your parents on discipline when you grew up?

Like a couple psychos when it came to me. I could be in trouble for any little thing. That's why I had such bad anxiety for most of my life. Why do you ask? You think QoH has me whipped, yes? That's a big thing with ACONs, trying to break free from the programming/mental bondage. It's a perennial topic at the PD forum.

Well, they came to pick up the trash pile today. QoH was pissed because they don't give enough time to accumulate crap to put out there. Then she had fun berating me over carrying the logs. She thinks I should have kicked them the whole 25 meters.(I couldn't budge them using that method.) How that would keep me from injuring myself is beyond me. PD logic at its finest. Or I should have flipped them like a tire-flip. :rolls eyes: That would have really injured my back.

BTW, I had a feeling she would be in one of her moods today. She was almost normal the past 2 days, so the third day she has to get back to PD mode. It's a predictable cycle. :/

Oh, and it seems Dave Mustaine has been following Andrea KGB's twitter and said he was going to watch her Invicta fight and asked what time it was on. She's all fangirling because she's a metal head and Megadeth fan. I messaged her and said she should walk out to something from the new Megadeth album (which is really awesome IMO). She like the idea. :D

We have a sorta plastic cart/wheelbarrow type thingy, but it might have broke with that much weight. And the thing is very awkward to maneuver when it's loaded up. It was easier for me to just pick the damn logs up and carry them.

At least now you know when to feed her the valium.

Now I just need to get some valium. ;P

It's too bad I don't have UFC Fight Pass or know someone who does. I'd like to see Andrea's fight and see which song she picks to walk out to.

I'm vaguely familiar with the one you're referring to, but no, this one has Tom Hardy and Jonathan Price in it. It has something to do with the East India Company and some sailor dude (Hardy's character) who was thought to have died in Africa but returns for his father's funeral. It has elements of the supernatural and black magic and taboo subject matter all set in early 1800's England.

I've also been watching Leah Remini's series exposing the abuses in the Scientology cult. She's got balls considering the sorts of thug tactics they use on people who cross them.

It's not a prerequisite. I think I mostly watch reality shows like Alone, The Selection, that one where they put regular peeps in jail as spies, MMA, The First 48, Nightwatch, Leah Remini, Ink Master, Forged In Fire, etc. BTW, Salem has returned and I managed to miss last week's episode. :/

Yeah, the last episode had her going to meet with lawyers, but they couldn't show that because of confidentiality reasons.

Say, if you get that much sun out there in Florida, do you ever actively try to get a tan or does that happen automatically? Or do you try to avoid tanning?

do you ever actively try to get a tan

No, but my face, arms, and legs will get tan just from me going out to mow the lawn. The sun is too harsh here for fair skinned peeps. If you don't use sunscreen when out for a prolonged period of time, then you can get damage in the form of wrinkles and dark spots and freckles, not to mention the initial sunburn which hurts like a bastard if it's a bad one.

You should see some of these retiree sun worshippers. They look like wrinkly leather. Like that Magda character from There's Something About Mary. D:

I don't want any wrinkles and dark spots or freckles that result from too much sun exposure. Never heard of this. There may be more water in the Rhine but that's because of increased rain and melting snow during winter.

Where did you hear about it?

I like the pic you added to the half-assed post BTW. :)

Oh, and I've found a new Norwegian TV show in the library. A krimi with supernatural aspects apparently.

From Her Stoatliness. Her area of England is under a flood warning apparently. Something to do with high tide + storm surge pushing the water up from the channel. It sounds similar to what happens here during the Super Moon at high tide. I was just wondering if you lot experience anything like that with all the water you got going on over there and the below sea level thing. ;P

I like the pic you added

I was wondering when you were going to notice that. ;) I found it on another blog and thought it would make a nice addition. Glad you like it. It's a Picasso I think.

a new Norwegian TV show

Sounds interesting. Is it like X Files?

Well, KGB fights tonight. I watched a video of the weigh-in yesterday. She looks fit and ready to go. The only thing concerning me is the fight is in Kansas City and they are having a terrible ice and snow storm there ATM. I think she and her crew drove up there. Kinda dangerous to drive back in that.

It's called "jordskott" and it's Swedish BTW (I must have misread that). It's not really like X-files although children do go missing like Fox Mulders' sister. It's more like a small town mystery. It's pretty good and fairly original.

Did you get any snow yet?

It's supposed to get really cold tonight so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We had a little snow yesterday but nothing worth taking pics of.

It looked very painful. Upon watching the replay I noticed that a digging left punch to the liver is what did her in. She turtled up against the fence afterwards and KGB rained down punches until the ref stepped in and stopped it.

Do you have some suspicion that it might get boring?

Yes. It was mostly boring. There were a lot of fighters I had never heard of before. It seems like the more interesting fights happened before the televised ones (I looked up the play-by-play on Sherdog). The judging was horrible for 2 of the fights. Completely ass-backbards. A couple of the fights with well known fighters weren't very interesting, and the main event of Penn vs Rodriguez was just really sad and hard to watch. Penn should retire for good after that. He looked so old and outclassed. I didn't enjoy watching Rodriguez who is a good TKD fighter land so many kicks on Penn. Penn looked so small in comparison. I don't know why he took that fight. He's so past his prime. It's not worth the beating he got.

Anyway, not anything going on here. I exercised a little. That's about it.

It should be even though I never heard of Bassett before. KGB doesn't have boring fights. Hmm, it seems Bassett was a long distance runner prior to getting into MMA. And she lost a fight to Fallon Fox who is a tranny. I'd like to see KGB go full blast. She said on an interview that she tends to hold back. :O

Thanks. It didn't start out too bad yesterday but last night I got awakened at about 4:30am with really bad cramping. Took some pain medication and it went away after an hour or so, but then it keeps coming back after a few hours and then I have to pop more pills. My uterus feels stabby ATM and I have radiating pain in my lower back and legs. I feel like 💩💩💩 tbh.

They're really making a day of this inauguration thing. The parade is on ATM. Later will be the balls. Melania looks very elegant in her sky blue Ralph Lauren outfit. I'm looking forward to seeing what she'll be wearing tonight. Wimminz always like critiquing outfits. 😜

Yep. I feel kinda silly admitting it, but I only discovered a few days ago the button to press on the keypad where the emojis are hidden. And I've had this phone for over a year. Not my fault, really. It didn't come with a detailed instructions booklet. I've had to figure it out on my own or Google to find out things. :/

Do you check out the men's attire as well?

Sure, although with menswear it's all basically the same. Except for Dick Cheney wearing his cowboy hat, and Louie Gomert wearing a nice tux with a vest at one of the formal events, and Sebastian Gorka wearing some kind of all black European-looking military jacket with a couple medals pinned on. Those were the only really interesting or noticeable fashions on the men's side. I liked a lot of the double-breasted coats that the ladies were wearing. Hillary was wearing all white again. She looked nice. Michelle Obama could have done something better with her hair. She had her natural hair pulled back and they had some ugly bunch hairpiece pinned on the back and some of the strands were coming loose. She would have looked better with a nice wig like Hillary.

We had some coupons left

Just the Greek restaurant we usually go to. Maybe we should try a different one next time.

It's been ages since I ate out anywhere.

How did that happen? How is it possible QoH let you do that?

That's for sure. I don't even recall how I found them. I think I might've been curious about the button with the microphone icon with 2 dots and a gear symbol and pushed it for shits and giggles. ;P

So what did you have at the Greek place this time?

How is it possible QoH let you do that?

I went with the 2 Colombian sisters that we used to work with. They were both retired but worked for extra spending money and for something to do. Neither of them really needed to work as they were both well off. They were very generous and like to go out to eat at different places and they took me out a couple times for my birthday. It all kinda runs together, but I got to eat at the Ale House (sports bar/restaurant), The Knife(Argentinian steak house), Sundy House (historic building turned into a restaurant and exotic garden), and Boston Market (rotisserie chicken place/chain restaurant).

QoH was never one to eat out. We never went to restaurants when I was a kid. Only Burger King take-out was ever bought and they always bought the same thing. I had no concept of menus when I was a kid. I didn't know they sold other stuff besides Whoppers. It's really awkward when you go to a place with someone other than your parentals and are suddenly faced with choices and having no clue what any of it is because your parentals never ever tried anything different. :/

Just like with Chinese food. There was this one restaurant that my parental units would get take-out from once in a blue moon. Always ordered the same thing every time. Never tried anything else. I just don't understand that. I like to try different things. Eating the same stuff all the time is boring. Maybe I should bring up this topic on the PD forum and see if anyone ever experienced the same thing?

Even my parents agree that if we go to a restaurant again we'll probably go to a different one. We've exhausted the menu, I guess.

That's generally the part I like about going to a restaurant. I like being surprised with new food.

I don't remember if I ever had gyros before. Maybe one a loooong time ago. That's the thing in a pita bread, usually with thinly sliced lamb, with a thin yogurt sauce and tomatoes and cucumbers? At least I think I remember it being something like that. I wouldn't have been very happy about what you got, either. :/

I like being surprised with new food.

It was awkward as a kid and it made me feel stupid. I was really shy back then, mainly because QoH kept me isolated from people so I didn't really know how to act socially, and having never tried different foods I didn't know what anything was. Like one time I was a guest of my sister and her bf at the time and he asked me if I'd like to try the "birch beer". I thought he was talking about actual beer and got excited and said yes. I was deeply disappointed to find out it was root beer and felt stupid. :/

Everybody likes to talk about food.

They sure do! And there's lots of material regarding PDs and food. ;P

In other news, I forgot to tell you about the excitement that happened here on Saturday night. QoH came to my room to tell me to turn on the news because there was a live car chase near our house. I could hear the helicopter overhead. So I flipped it on and at that point the guy bailed out and ran on foot. I recognized our neighborhood as the guy was running through yards and jumping fences. Then I recognized the house on the next street over which would be the one directly behind my neighbor's house across the street. At that point I went for my hand cannon just in case. Luckily the cops cuffed and stuffed him before he got here. There was a cop car in front of our driveway and one in front of our nabe's. I think they got him in the yard behind my nabe's. Allegedly he had a stolen car and ran from the cops.

Then today paternal unit was banging at the door. He had been calling my cell phone all week leaving messages. I haven't bothered to listen to any of them. I cringe whenever he calls. I can't deal with his crazy shit. I didn't answer the door even though he banged and banged. Eventually he left. I surprised he didn't call the cops again like last time. :/

That's the thing in a pita bread,

That would have been a serious improvement over what I got served. My meal was just a plate with gyros, a sort of creamy sauce and cheese (I am guessing) on top of all that.

I was deeply disappointed to find out it was root beer

You didn't like the taste of it? Real beer sucks anyway. ;P

D: D: D:

What the hell kind of Greek place was this? Is it run by actual Greeks? Gyros are supposed to be rotisserie roasted meats (chicken, lamb, etc) thinly sliced with some veg like onion, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and in a pita. I don't know WTF they served you.

You didn't like the taste of it?

Roots beer is okay, I was just expecting real beer. When you have your taste buds set on beer beer and get root beer it's quite a shock. And real beer does *not* suck. ;P

Today I mowed the yard. The nabe's lawn guy did their's a little earlier in the day. He did their's last time, too. I'm a little annoyed with them as I told her that I could do it and call me when she wanted it done. That guy does a shitty job. He doesn't even bother to pick up the garbage that blows into their yard before he mows thereby making even more garbage in the yard. Like garbage confetti. :/

Some unorthodox Greek lab experiment, I'm guessing. :)

I should have send Gordon Ramsay in there. ;P

That guy does a shitty job.

Maybe he works for less money? Or maybe she just likes him a lot IYKWIM. :D

You know, it's been pretty cold the last weeks ,like -5 Celsius regularly. Yet, no snow to be seen. I'm starting to feel cheated. :/

Sure sounds like it. Are Japanese sushi places a thing over there?

Gordon Ramsay

Sounds like they could use his critiques. ;P

Maybe he works for less money?

Nope, she said she pays him $30. That's what she paid me. IMO I think that's a bit much for such a small yard, and he has a big ride-on mower. It takes him about 5 minutes to do the mowing part. Many years ago I mowed one time for their grandmother and IIRC she paid me $20 back then.

OR maybe she just likes him a lot IYKWIM.

Nah, he's in his 50's I think and her only interaction is to stick her head out the door to pay him. I think she has the hots for some guy she talks to on fb.

I'm starting to feel cheated.

You could always take a trip to wherever the snow is. :D

In other news, I'm already experiencing the Trump Effect on my phone bill. It was less money since he dropped some federal regulations and therefore the taxes were less. :)

We've got a few Chinese/japanese restaurants. Nothing fancy but the food is generally good there.

30 or 31 I think.

Which federal regulations?

Not sure. They weren't specific on the news. I'm not sure if it was an official executive order or he just instructed them to do it.

I'm shocked actually that he's getting shit done as quickly as he is. Most politicians promise all sorts of things and you're lucky if any of it gets done within their term. Trump hit the ground running and is checking off promises left and right. Makes me never want to vote for another politician again, only business peeps. ;P It's so stunning that I can hardly believe it, and super entertaining, too. :)

BTW, the mayor of Miami-Dade County announced that our county is no longer a sanctuary to illegals and instructed the police and jails to turn over any criminal illegals to the feds. I'm beyond shocked that it only took 3 days of Trump on the job to get the local politicians to cave. :O

That's not how it works, is it? Even if he's president, he can't just willy-nilly command people. Doesn't congres come into play at some point? Doesn't it have to be put into law?

instructed the police and jails to turn over any criminal illegals to the feds.

They didn't do that before? That seems strange. I mean, illegal immigration is a federal matter, right?

For certain federal agencies he can instruct them. Other things can be done by executive order. He can't make up laws willy-nilly. You need both the House and Senate to pass them first. He's doing it by the book so far.

They didn't do that before?

Nope. Because Obama had instructed them not to follow the immigration laws. ICE wasn't allowed to do deportations and the local jails couldn't hold people indefinitely. If ICE didn't come pick them up, the local authorities turned them loose. Basically Obama had instructed the feds to ignore the immigration laws. They became chauffeurs for illegals to take them whenever they wanted to go. It was really fucked up. Crime in a lot of cities was crazy because if you were here illegally you could do almost anything without fear of deportation.

Mostly uneventful. I made some ham & Swiss cheeses sandwiches in the oven last night and I'm boiling a corned beef ATM which will have carrots, potatoes, and cabbage to go with it. I'll prep those in a couple hours when the beef is almost done. There was a UFC Fight Night on last night and much to my dismay all 5 of the fighters I wanted to win didnt. :/

That should provide you with many hours of entertainment. ;D I think I need to check if our local library has any GOT dvd's. It has been so damn long since I've had a HBO free preview weekend with a GOT marathon that I can't quite remember everything that's going on. :/

How is that even possible?

Well, 2 of the fights had older well known fighters vs younger rising star ones. Once dudes get near 40 y/o or older they just aren't much of a match for the young guys. And Valentina Shevchenko beat Juliana Peña. I was rooting for Pena who was the underdog and has been improving since she was on TUF, but Shevchenko proved to be more than just a kickboxer when she successfully defended against Pena in the clinch and tossed her twice and then subbed her by armbar. I really think she is going to get the title shot vs Nunes rather than the winner of Holm vs De Randamie.

Anyway, my girl KGB is fighting next month. I think she's defending her belt. Should be a good one as she's really in beast mode. :)

BTW, it got really cold here yesterday and last night. It was nasty with drizzly rain all yesterday and cold and then got into the high 40's last night. The humidity is only 46% at the moment and it's nice and sunny. Supposed to stay relatively cool all week. :D Did you get any snow yet?

Hey, did you know that I've known you for almost 9 years? It's about 9 years since you were posting on the crazy Scottish woman's blog. I guess technically it's a bit less since we've been talking, though.

I've been talking with some peeps on fb the last couple days reminiscing about when we were in elementary school. It's funny because my one fb friend went there for as long as I did but be were never friends. She was friends with a couple of my friends in high school. Then I was talking to her friend who she has know since they were like 5 y/o. I had no idea she had gone to the same school as well. We were posting old pics from back then. Some of them were hilarious like when the 2 of them had to wear the camel costume in the school play. One girl was shorter than the other so the back end was much lower. It was cracking me up. Lol

Were you ever in any school plays like that?

I think I'm going to dig out some old pics of my friends and post them on fb. That should be popular. Lol ;D

OMG, I had clicked a link from someone's blog talking about "under the fence" push-ups (basically the cat stretch). It went to a youtube. Then there was a "suggested pick" of Andrea KGB Lee vs some chick named Kim Colbert. KGB threw 1 kick which the girl foolishly tried to block with her hand and got her fingers kicked off (it looked like 2 fingers had compound fractures with the bones sticking out). It was sooooo fucking nasty! No wonder my sifu was always getting on me about keeping my fingers together and not trying to block kicks with your hands. D:

It's useful for tagging people with funny memes and posting pics and making smartass comments. Also it notifies you when peeps' birthdays are. I found an especially funny meme (to me, anyway ;P) today that I'd like to tag you with, but I'll just have to do it the hard way and send it by email.

That does seem like an obviously bad idea to me.

Especially if it's one of KGB's kicks. When I was a kid, the other kids didn't kick very hard. Sifu also didn't like me using karate techniques that I learned from my friend who lived next door. Checking kicks with your shin is what pro mma peeps do. I guess he was just being a Wing Chun purist. :/ Which is kinda odd since he also taught Jeet Kune Do and Bruce Lee incorporated techniques from many styles to develop that. It was pretty much the first mma. :)

Why do they do that?

You could get your fibula broken. Or you'll get the nerves in your leg tenderized and your calf muscles bruised up so bad you won't be able to stand. Also, if you are like me and have well developed tibialis and peroneus muscles, it won't hurt so bad if you check with your shins.

I've had to shop for groceries.

At least it's getting you out of the house. How's that going BTW?

Lots of twists and cliffhangers.

Yep. That's a very complex show.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Salem has ended. They did a very short season 3 just to wrap things up. They jumped the shark IMO during season 2 and lost their audience. I didn't like how it ended. :/

Now I'm watching Taboo. I missed episode 3 somehow. Caught ep 4, now I'm awaiting ep 5. It's kinda slow paced but seems to be getting more interesting.

Huh, I had no idea she was related to him.

Well, tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday. Lots of hype this weekend. I stopped caring about football years ago. IDK if I'm going to watch or not. Usually peeps who don't watch football watch for the special commercials. Lady Gaga is supposed to be the halftime show. I'm curious to see what she's going to do, so I'll probably watch for that.

Nope, not really. Not overtly so, anyway. She played it pretty straight. I'll give it to her for being professional when it comes to performances that have a national audience for sporting events. She doesn't get controversial and she actually sings live as opposed to lip syncing. It was pretty good for a halftime show IMO.

When is the gig

The 26th IIRC.

They were blocking the light from getting to a pineapple plant.

you like Dilbert?

Yep. And Dogbert and Catbert, too. ;P My sister and I used to laugh hysterically at some of them. I can definitely relate to the ones where the company screws over the workers and customers. Worked for a couple places like that. And I did see that Scott Adams had a blog. He's currently pulling his support of UC Berkeley over that riot on campus that the leftists had when Milo Yiannopolous was supposed to speak there.

Tonight we took a trip up to Western Beef since they had Swiss cheese on sale and a couple other items, and tonight was the last night of the sale. While I was there I got a couple lemons that were on sale. There was another guy picking some out at the same time. Afterward, I went to get some lettuce and the guy came to get my attention and let me know there were more lemons in a different spot and those ones were HUGE. I thanked him and then we both dumped out the small lemons and bought extra of the huge ones. It's so rare any more that someone is nice to a complete stranger in public that I felt I needed to mention it. :)

The birthday boy had made some kind of browny pie that was very tasty BTW. Nice. :)

I love Chinese food. One of my favorite ethnic foods. :) And the brownie pie thing sounds good. Food is usually the best part of a party. Glad it wasn't too bad for you.

Was it a special occasion or something?

A street festival for fetishists. A lot were just walking around 99% naked with just one of those bondage harnesses on. Lots of flaccid willies without ornamentation. Some had cock rings, and some were wearing tiny bikini-type coverings. There were furries and a sub-group of "puppy play/leather dogs". One guy had what looked like a stuffed sock covering his willy. I don't know how people can do that stuff in public for all to see. I guess exhibitionism can stem from narcissism.

Well, the fights were boring. All but one were judges' decisions. Holly lost by decision to your countrywoman. Miesha Tate who was on the post-fight show panel said that in her opinion Holly won the last 3 rounds, but it was a close fight throughout. Oh well. I don't know what is next for Holly. That was her third loss in a row.

They've probably been running around like that within their own community/social network for quite a while. I guess they felt secure enough to let outsiders in on the spectacle. It probably also turns them on sexually. Or maybe not. I suppose the didn't show any accidental erections?

All but one were judges' decisions.

That doesn't necessarly mean that a fight is boring though, does it?

Hmm, I had a long response written up and posted, but it somehow got eaten by blogger. :/

Basically I said there were lots of deliberate erections and sexual activity (blow jobs, hand jobs, anal, etc) which is all illegal, but the city of SF instructs the police to look the other way. They basically let the gay community do whatever.

Hm. That seems quite rude.

That's a shame then. Oh, well. Friday's coming up pretty quickly. The KGB fight will probably be interesting, right?

I've just finished watching a series called "Broadchurch". It has David Tennant in it plus a few other ex-Whovians. It's not scifi though. First season was okay, second season was much better.

Should be. Unless she kicks her opponent's fingers off with the first kick again. ;P

I have a massive headache ATM. Had to go shopping with QoH earlier and it was hot today and the sun was too bright and the glare was hurting my eyes. I took some ibuprofen a little while ago but it hasn't kicked in yet. :/

I'm supposed to cook fajitas tonight. IDK if the chicken is defrosted yet. I hope my headache is gone before I have to cook.

That sucks mightily. Are coming down with something?

I'm supposed to cook fajitas tonight.

I've never eaten those. I've googled some images and they look like filled up pancakes.

I'm feeling much better today BTW. I did have a coughing fit while I was in the library. There were tears flowing from my eyes and the coughing made me gag a bit. So I went to the toilets and drank some cold water from the tap there. That helped a lot.

No, just Ma Nature paying me a visit today. I don't get headaches from that, though. I think it was just the heat and I didn't drink anything while I was out even though it was only a couple hours. The glare and the noise of QoH endless talking and blasting the radio all played into it. :/

I've never eaten those.

They're really good. Especially when I make them. ;P

Glad to hear you're feeling better aside from the coughing fit. I woke up with a headache at about 5am and just tried to sleep it off. A few hours later I still had it and just decided to get up and take ibuprofen. The headache is finally gone but the pills allowed Ma Nature to sneak in without the usual warning cramps. :/

I was kinda upset with feeling bad because I haven't worked out in a few days, but I guess I'll have to hold off on leg and abs exercises for obvious reasons. :/

I don't think they'd travel very well. The meat and veggies would have to be frozen for the trip. The chicken could be reheated without a problem, but the onions and peppers don't freeze well. Then there's the toppings to think of. Best to find a teleporter or something. ;P

They're really easy to make, though, except I think you'd probably have a problem finding flour tortillas. I just season the raw chicken with salt, garlic, and cumin, and a tiny bit of cayenne pepper, then grill it until it's cooked all the way through. Then cut onion and red and green bell peppers into thin strips and sauté them with the same spices. I'm sure there are recipes that use different spices, but that's how I do it. Then put a few pieces of chicken and veggies into a tortilla and top with salsa and sour cream or guacamole if you have any. :)

Did you have an accident?

No, but there was a sudden "release" when I went to use the toilet. Glad it happened then so I could do something about it before an accident happened.

KGB FTW of course. ;P I told KGB that for her last jujitsu match and got a like from her. This time around I just said I was looking forward to her fight and to kick ass as usual. I'll probably get a reply tomorrow. She's really good about replying to fans personally. I really don't know anything about her opponent, but I know KGB has really been working on her striking. She was overwhelming with it in the last fight. She has some really sick jujitsu, too, for a purple belt. So if it goes to the ground, she's pretty scary there as well. I think tonight is a title fight, so she definitely won't want to lose her belt. I expect her to come out like a beast again. :)

Oh! Look what I found in my inbox! My missing comment that Blogger ate! Here:

I suppose the didn't show any accidental erections?

Most of the ones shown were quite deliberate. The point of this particular photo essay was to highlight the fact that there was a lot of illegal public sexual activity going on even though the city and organizers deny it. Lots of exposed erections, hand jobs, one instance of a completely naked man giving a blow job to another man standing in a doorway. Then there were the "regulars" as the blogger dubs them, a handful of real perverts who get off on being naked in public. The one guy nicknamed "Viagra Man" likes to sport a massive erection and sit there with a shit eating grin while people look at him. He had emailed the blogger to thank her for publishing the pics of him because in his words he can "visually rape" even more people on the internet. The other guy she highlighted does something called "scrotal inflation" where he injects saline into his ball sack until it's the size of a cantaloupe. All done for the shock value and to make unwitting passersby into unwilling participants.

I don't care what sort of kink people get up to, but like the blogger said, it's a completely different thing when people are doing it in public and flagrantly breaking the law and the city overlooks it to kiss ass with the large LGBT community out there. In any other city you'd get arrested for public indecency for being naked or a lewd and lascivious charge for an exposed erection with the accompanying sex acts. But San Francisco orders the police to look the other way and not enforce the laws. And that particular event isn't the only time stuff like that happens. There were numerous other posts documenting all sorts of occasions where there was public nudity.

That doesn't necessarily mean that a fight is boring though, does it?

No, some fights can be pretty good and go to a decision, but all the ones I watched happened to be boring.

In other news I had to hurry up and try to get paperwork filed for QoH to get 2 additional tax exemptions for the house. She has been eligible since 2013 but for whatever reason was afraid to apply. I had to find all the correct forms and download them and print them out, then figure out how to fill them out properly. I'm not 100% sure they were filled out correctly, but I did my best. The property appraiser can contact me if they need additional info, I guess. The important part was to get it in before the March 1, deadline. It was all mailed today, so that should be enough time. Filling out those papers is stressful since the instructions aren't very clear and there's no help online to explain what they mean on certain things, and they deliberately make the website difficult to navigate to discourage people. It's also impossible to speak with an actual person at the tax office. >:( Needless to say, I'm feeling exhausted after doing paperwork for 3.5 hours. :/

As expected, KGB came out like a beast in the first round and opened up a can of whoop-ass on that chick. Bassett's forehead had several very large hematomas and it looked like she had potatoes under her skin. KGB also landed many knees and elbows. Her boxing was excellent and she landed many head and body strikes. 2nd round Bassett figured she'd do better by taking it to the ground. KGB still managed to out-maneuver her and almost got a sub by rear naked choke. Round 3 was a little of a mix- started out standing and finished on the ground where KGB subbed Bassett by a very sick armbar. Excellent fight and KGB is the champ. :)

It was a sorta unification. Legacy FC, which KGB was the 125 pound champ, and Resurrection Fighting Alliance merged. So they are having title fights for the newly formed Legacy Fighting Alliance. I'm sure she'll be having more title defenses in her future.

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself BTW. :)

I have to tell you something funny. When the fights first started and they were showing all the fighters' pics, QoH happened to be in the room. She wanted to know who the "pretty blonde girl" was. I told her she's my favorite female fighter. Then later when KGB's fight came on and I was yelling support and instructions at the TV, QoH comes rushing upstairs to watch. Then she says women should be allowed to do MMA and that Andrea's husband is an asshole to "make" her fight. LOL first of all, KGB fights because she wants to, and I think she was doing so before she married her husband. QoH is so superficial. And she has a thing for pretty blondes. ;P

Sometimes. It would be significantly worse if I was around certain friends from work and school where we would play off of each other.

Speaking of friends from school, a few months back in got a friend request on fb from a chick I knew from elementary school. I think I knew her from 1st or 2nd through 6th. I wasn't friends with her, but I didn't dislike her either. I didn't know her very well, she was just a classmate. Well it turns out that if she hadn't moved up to North Florida--Inverness of all places! (where my uncle Kip moved to) that we might have been bff's if we had actually gotten to know each other. We have so many common interests and the same dark sense of humor. It's a shame she's moved even further north up near Atlanta now. The only thing good about that is it's along the way near I-75 if I ever have to go to Chattanooga to deal with paternal unit's house up there. I'm sure she wouldn't mind a visit from me. ;D

You're being polite...

I can behave. Sometimes. ;P

Oh, BTW, I was searching for some funny birthday memes since I have a bunch of fb friends' b-days coming up in, well...bunches...and I wanted to be ready. Mostly Monty Python ones, but I found one from "Frank" that I liked. ;P I'll mailz it to you.

So what can you do with whhhipped cream?

I can make really good whipped cream from scratch, but apparently my skillz are with decorating with it using a star tip. QoH thought I did a nice job putting the canned kind on the slices of pie at the last gig.

a pinched nerve

Well that can be painful and annoying. At least it's not serious.

I have one under my real name and one for xul. I had originally had the xul one to use to keep in touch with fellow bloggers, but I only had 2 of those a few years ago when I first started blogging. I stopped reading their blogs ages ago. I found them funny at first, but we had very different opinions on things and the one guy got really crude and obnoxious with the stuff he posted. Xul has many "friends" who appear to be Indonesian and Middle Eastern metal heads because "xul" is Sumerian for "evil" and I just added anyone who friend requested to see how many random people would friend. I'm contemplating unfriending all of them since I don't use that account.

What's about twitter?

I don't have that.

Do you have any neat projects planned?

The only thing I had planned was to color my hair so I'd be ready for the gig on Sunday. I just finished doing that about 30 minutes ago. I went ahead and used the darker one since I have maybe 3 more of those to use up before I start using the lighter shade. :)

I don't have that.

I have one but I never use it for tweeting. There are some twitterers that I used to follow, mostly news channels.

so I'd be ready for the gig on Sunday.

Yeah, I think I have a bunch of bands that I like listed.

I have one

:O

How are you holding up

I'm fine. It doesn't bother me like it does QoH. She likes to stress and get herself worked up over it. I prefer not to think about it until I get there. QoH is kinda annoying me with her behavior. Although the lady can be a little annoying with changing the menu and having more guests than initially planned for. It's supposed to be drinks on a table and trays of food that we have to make up to put out a little at a time. I think there are also a few hot items that I'll be in charge of heating and traying up. QoH gets too overwhelmed and scatterbrained with that stuff. I basically take charge of food when I go there.

Oh, and I woke up yesterday with a bit of a staff neck that mostly went away during the day. When I went to bed last night, I couldn't sleep in my normal position because it was painful. I didn't get much sleep. It's even worse today. I hope it goes away before the gig. That would be really annoying. :(

Their grass was really high and the lawn guy who usually does their next door neighbor's yard and sometimes theirs didn't do it yet. He didn't come today so I called over there to ask if she needed me to mow her yard. The answer was "yes" so I just made a quick $30 for 30 minutes of work. I just went ahead and asked and didn't care if QoH liked it or not. Money is more important than QoH's dumb opinions and phobias. I'm just gonna have to practice this 'not giving a crap what QoH thinks' stuff and hopefully improve my quality of life. :)

Wowo, that's like $60 per ghour. That's quite a salary. If you made that kind of money working 8 hour days, you'd have about $9600 by then end of the month, over $100.000 per year. :)

Still running out of moneyz. If I could make as little as $200/week it wouldn't be so bad.

That's quite a salary.

Yep, one of those jobs that Americans allegedly refuse to do and we need illegals for. If people actually knew how much these "dirty" jobs paid I think there would be more willingness to do them.

Realistically speaking, I could handle doing maybe 4 per day since I'm working alone and using a push mower designed for home use. It's tiring especially when it's hot outside (most of the year). The pros use a riding mower. Those suckers cut a much wider swath and move pretty fast. It gets the mowing part done in half the time. Doing lawn service is something I might like doing for a living. It's a no-brainer, I'd be my own boss mostly, and I wouldn't have to pretend to be a people person like with catering. And like your calculations show, one can potentially earn a lot of moolah at it. :)

Hey, you are never going to believe what I just found out today! So a little background--so the potential bff material friend that I mentioned a few posts back? Last night I was looking at photos on her fb page and somehow I must've accidentally hit the button to join a group thingy that she belongs to. I had no idea I did that until this morning when I got a notification that my request was approved by my friend "D". So I'm like, wtf? I don't remember requesting to join any groups. So I tagged her and asked "WTF did I join last night?" So she's like 'lol I was wondering about that'. So she told me it's a metal-working group. So now I'm very interested, as you know I'm all into that sort of thing. I asked if it was like Forged In Fire and she said it's more jewelry making. We messaged for a bit and then the bombshell! She said she mainly makes CHAIN MAIL!!! OM-effing-G! Why the eff does she have to live in freaking Georgia?!? Seriously why, why, why? How was it not best friends with her in school? Why am I finding this out now? What a cruel joke the universe is playing on me!

Anyway, we ended up messaging last night over a gun post I put up. She used to be the popo so...Lol. Let's just say she approves of the brand of hand cannon I have. ;P

Then she wanted to know what I did for a living. I was tired and truthful. Now I regret not joking about being a contract killer. ;P D is about as sassy as I am, so she would have thought that was pretty funny. the new Blade Runner

Yeah, I don't know about that one. The original is a very 8o's movie. Sort of the beginning of the cyberpunk genre. I'm not sure that style will still work these days. Plus I wonder how much CGI there will be in it. The original had only practical effects AFAIK.

Ghost in the Shell, and Logan.

Logan seems pretty good just going by the trailer. I guess I'm a bit biased WRT GITS. I've seen the animation more times than I remember. The new movie is bound to be a rather American translation of a very Japanese original production. The trailer does have some good parts in it.

It will probably be like a year before I get to see any of those movie though. :/

I'm always skeptical about remakes, especially a classic like Blade Runner. I especially hate CGI abuse in movies. With GITS I've already heard the howls of derision because it doesn't have a Japanese cast. I would tend to agree with that. I hate when they change characters' ethnicities in movies. Some of the effects looked good in the trailer. And Logan has Hugh Jackman, so :D .

Like you, I won't be seeing any of these in a theater, so who knows when I'll get to see them. Probably when some free movie channels previews happen.

Well, QoH has been annoying me today. She gets in these moods where she gets combative with me regardless of what I say to her. It's like she's arguing with me in her head and responding to what she imagines me saying. It's very tiring. :/

Probably. I'm just a stickler for keeping things original. Like with the movie Hannibal. I read the book cover to cover when it came out and was excited to see the movie, which stuck fairly true until the ending where they totally changed it. :/

Is he still in favor with the ladies?

Some ladies, yes. One guy on a site I read was bitching about his wife wanting to go see the Wolverine movie when it came out because Hugh is in it. ;P

He's getting a bit long in the tooth, isn't he?

Aren't we all. Trump last night made me very aware of how close to 50 I'm getting when he mentioned our country's 250th birthday is in 9 years. I was born in the bicentennial year, so...ugh. :/

Can't she just argue on her own then?

I wish she would. She seems quite capable of that. ;P

Hey, I discovered that I have a lot of fb friends who can drop Monty Python references like I can. One posted a meme of a bunny attacking a cat with the caption referring to the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. I responded with a pic of a Holy Hand Grenade card from one of those role playing card games. Good grief, did that get the responses going!

BTW I forgot to mention that after we were leaving the gig there was a black bunny chilling in the grass at the side of the street a couple houses down from the gig. I think I solved the mystery of what is attacking peeps' pets in Boca. Not a coyote but a killer rabbit! Lol also there was a coconut in my yard yesterday. Coincidence? ;P

Have you ever seen that?

No, I haven't.

Ya know, QoH is really making me despise her. Always creating problems and passing away money. Yesterday there was a dog in the neighbor's yard behind ours. I made the mistake of telling QoH. So she has to go back there and get all riled up over it because the dog appeared to be sick or injured. This pisses me off because 1)it's none of her business, 2)she makes it her business and then wants to enlist me to do her dirty work, and 3)she has a habit of making strays her responsibility and then it ends up costing thousands of dollars to take care of the animal that I don't want to begin with. So because I immediately refused to help her, she tried to enlist our other nabe Tina. She called her up and tried to get her to go over there to check on the dog. Tina refused and said those people who are living there (I assume they are renting from the owner) are Scientologist and we're nasty to her and she doesn't want to get involved. LOL So QoH got even madder that she couldn't manipulate Tina to do her dirty work. Today, mercifully, the dog was gone along with the cushion and bowls that were set out for it. QoH saw vultures circling so she assumed that the dog died and the people threw the dog in the trash bin (today is trash pickup day). That's another thing that pisses me off about QoH. She makes assumptions based on zero evidence. According to her, everyone is up to something nefarious. Everything is some conspiracy or plot against her. All unfounded. Zero evidence, but she insists she knows all.

What?

Apparently it was a rabid coyote. There has been a rabies outbreak down here. There was a report of rabid raccoons in S Miami and for peeps to be careful.

It's certainly nice to be omniscient, I think. :)

Are those people actually scientologists? Have you ever spoken to them?

There has been a rabies outbreak down here.

Holy crap! That's horrific. Have they put a bounty on those rabid raccoons?

I've bought some new comic books BTW. Hellboy related. They have that 19th century horror/mystery feel to them. Pretty neat.

I have no idea. I doubt it, though. Scientology is a wealthy people's cult. And I was unaware anyone was living there. The guy who owns the house mainly uses it for a vacation property. Any time someone is there, which is very rarely, it's only for a couple days at most. I saw some teenage girls going in there a few days ago when I drove by to go to the store, but hadn't seen anyone look to be living there. I think Tina gave QoH a bs story to keep from getting involved. ;P

Have they put a bounty on those rabid raccoons?

I think trappers are on the case.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new comics. :) My friend D invited me to like her personal jewelry-making page last night. She has some neat designs. Which got me a bit inspired and I did a little searching for Cthulhu designs because I'd like to make something like that. It feels kinda nice to be in a creative move. I'm sure QoH will soon kill any of those feelings, though. :/

But how do you kill that which has no life?

More like soulless. :/ What a massive pain in the ass she is. So completely self absorbed that she can't see how much of an asshole she is.

And can never admit to being wrong even when presented with concrete proof. Like getting into an argument with me today while in the car about how "Aunt L used to like Old Navy (the clothing store)". Well, Aunt L died in 1984 and Old Navy wasn't founded until 1994. I told QoH that Aunt L couldn't have like Old Navy because it wasn't in existence when she was alive. Well, QoH flies into a screaming fit at my contradiction and starts screaming 'YES SHE DID SHE TOLD ME HERSELF!!!' so I pulled out my phone and googled it and sure enough! I proved her wrong with facts, so she has to continue screaming that 'ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS ARGUE'. Says the woman who launches into a screaming match when I suggest that she might be mistaken. And then 'JUST DROP IT!!! JUST DROP IT!!! I'M NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH YOU!!!' She's a fucking mental case.

Does it have a silver lining?

No, it's just a grey colored tank top.

So it fits well then?

It's kinda roomy like it's made to fit loose for workouts.

Tim Curry card

I found that when I was looking for birthday memes for friends. I thought it was kinda funny. Lol

Speaking of transvestites, I saw one in Sam's Club last night. He was with a great big fat woman who must've weighed over 500 pounds. D:

Her way of accusing me of breaking a dish and covertly throwing it away. I responded with, "It's obvious top of the microwave." She is the one who put it there. The oil and vinegar crewets are sitting on top of it. "Oh," she says and walks away. No apology for the accusation, of course. >:(

I think it's a "faulty thinking" thing. The only "brain" thing is she's getting old and forgetful and misremembers things, but because she's a narcissist, she cannot admit to being forgetful because that would mean she is less than perfect. So it's everyone else to blame, not her. I don't believe PDs are hereditary. I believe it's learned behavior.

Probably. I might wear it to go shopping as well.

Lots of meh here. QoH is being a mega bitch. Mid-season premiere of OUAT was last night and it was a big piece of crap. It was so bad that Lily Sparks is no longer going to review the show. Yeah, it was that bad. I think I might have reached my limit as well. It's no longer entertaining for me, just stupid. Sigh.

I feel kinda crappy today. I'm not sick, just kinda tired of my existence. I should stop looking at fb for a few day. Seeing other people going about living their lives without having someone like QoH there to control and criticize makes everything worse. I truly wonderful the shit lottery with my parental units. It must be nice to have a supportive family who wants to see you succeed, not do everything in their power to handicap you and keep you a prisoner. :/

So what was bad about it?

The whole thing. The writing is beyond stupid. When characters who have magic conveniently forget they have magic and get captured by non-magic peeps to fit the dumb story line. Then bringing back Robin Hood to appease the Outlaw Queen shippers. Zero logical continuity. Smart characters acting stupid. The whole damn thing is asinine. I can't enjoy a show where the writing is completely schizophrenic. It's really a shame, too, to waste the talent of a great cast on this horse shit.

What about the PD forum?

I've stopped going on there for a while, too. It's kinda exhausting reading about other peeps' issues while dealing with my own. :/

Can't you turn it off?

I could, but sometimes it's useful.

Well, I found a nice Whitesnake concert on the TV last night to help me get out of my funk. Blasting 'In the Still of the Night' is a good mood booster. :) And it annoys QoH who called it "satanic insanity". Of course, anything that I enjoy is satanic according to her. I don't give a shit about her opinions. I also did some timed push-ups last night. 53 in 2 minutes, which would earn me the top score for the police physical aptitude test. My shoulders gassed out after 30 and I had to rest a couple times before I got to 53 and time ran out. I can do 20 no problem within 30 seconds. So logically, if I can build up my strength I could theoretically do 80 within 2 minutes. So that will be the goal I work towards. :)

Today would have been a good day to go to Oleta River State Park to tear up the bike trails. It's about 77 degrees today, a bit windy, and partly cloudy. Too bad I have no one to go with me. :/

odd feeling in my esophagus and a burning sensation in my stomach

Yeah. I've also change some things about my diet like no cheese, no coffee, smaller portions of food. I should probably also get off my ass a little more often instead of sitting hunched in front of a computer screen.

Always a good idea. :) Maybe get out for some bike rides. Go sit in the sun. I did that today, BTW. I'm looking as pale as an Englishman's arse lately and could use some color. And I could use the natural vitamin D. You probably could, too. ;)

Hey, guess what? I finally got my third dick winnings from Her Stoatliness' Dead Pool. It has only been 1.5 years. :/

It was in the mail today. At first I thought it was something from my friend Fuzzy in Vancouver because the handwriting was very much like hers and the postage stamp had a picture of the Queen on it, but when I turned it over, the back had the Mark of the Weasel stamped on it. :)

Since I won with Yogi Berra, she did a nice watercolor of Yogi with the caption "it ain't over 'til it's over". I also got my official certificate of dick winning and a nice note from Her Stoatliness. :) I shall email a pic to you.

They look out of proportion next to my biceps and triceps. And it's not like I don't do lots of shoulder exercises. I think that they are just small because of genetics. I guess I'll have to increase the weight that I use.

Why did it take so long?

I'm not sure. I didnt ask. I let her know I got it and thanked her on her last blog post but didnt get a reply.

I guess she had other things that took priority. She got a job with a historical society a few months back, so that occupies some of her time during the week. But 1.5 years is a long wait. Before it was only a few months at most. I'm just happy to have finally gotten it. :)

How is your weather over there? It was very sunny and cloudless today. I went and sat outside for about 10-15 minutes. If it wasn't for QoH and nosy neighbors, I would have laid out nude for zero tan lines. But alas. :/

In other news, I ran across a story of the artist Vandercar on a fb page for peeps who grew up in S FL in the 60s, 70s, & 80s. For freaking years I thought his name was Vandegaard thanks to my sister either mispronouncing it or not talking clearly. That's a trait she and QoH share. They could mispronounce their own damn names. QoH is especially bad at it. Anyway, it confirmed most of what my sister told me. And I got to see an example of the creepy heads he had sculpted on the wall around his property. My sister and her friends shouldn't have been so creeped out, though. He seemed cool and would let peeps just come in his yard and he'd show them his art and chat. IDK where my sis got the fraidy-cat gene. I'm not like that when it comes to creepy statuary. If he was still alive I would go to see him. Sounded like an interesting albeit eccentric guy. :)

Also, they have Deadpool, The Equalizer and something called "Focus Diversion" with Will Smith.

Have you ever gotten burned badly by the sun?

Yes, twice. The first and probably worse of the two was completely QoH's fault. We had gone to go visit someone at the hoosegow near Daytona. She has the brilliant idea for us all to dress in semi-formal/Sunday best attire and then sit outside in the blazing hot sun for several hours so she can pine and look forlorn through the fence at her obsession while completely ignoring the person we were supposed to be visiting, acting like a mental patient and raising the suspicion of the guards. She persisted in this behavior the entire time we were there which was several hours. I begged many times to go to the covered pavilion but she'd get nasty each time and insisted on staying where we were so she could see her "sweet baby". :vomit:

Needless to say, I got burnt the fuck up. I was made to wear these tights that had a pattern of little bows, so that pattern was marked on my legs for several weeks and my arms were burned so badly that I could barely move them. When the skin finally started to peel, I could basically remove it in one big piece off my forearms, much to the horror of my friend who lived next door. I think my face was burned bad, too. QoH didn't give a shit because she had sunburn before(some time in the past), so therefore she didn't care if I got burned. I fucking despise her.

The second time was because of my own naivete when I was a teen (I was also 16 or 17). I went to the beach with some friends (the one and only time I ever went to the beach with them because QoH hardly ever allowed me to do anything) and I brought some SPF 4 lotion to use. I didn't realize that it would be grossly insufficient in keeping me from getting burned. SPF 45 would have done the trick but I didn't know that. I had never gone to the beach earlier than 4pm before. Needless to say I got burned really badly. I looked like a cooked lobster and it was sooo painful. I'll never make that mistake again.

Hey, good score at your library. Did you get Deadpool? I heard it was good.

I haven't noticed any problems with Firefox. I mainly used my phone.

Well, QoH was in bitch mode immediately when I came downstairs today for no apparent reason with the usual name calling and "you always or never" statements. Then she got pissy when I wanted to wash my clothes and wouldn't let me hang them to dry in my bathroom because she "needed to get in there to shower and wash her hair and she didn't want them in her way". That was around 7 hours ago and guess what? My clothes dried long ago and she has yet to use the shower. And she can't figure out why I can't stand her. >:(

Yes, thanks to my half-bro and his stupid-ass habits of getting himself in trouble with the authorities. That's how she came to know of this guy and become completely obsessed. It's a really long fucked up story which would be better told in private if you want to hear about it. I've never told anyone the complete history of it before except for maybe CB who got a brief summary. I'm at the point in my life where I'm done keeping secrets, especially things of which I had no control over. Like they say on the PD forum, wrote don't get paid to keep other people's secrets.

Well, here is just as good as any to document QoH's bullshit. So she gets in my face screaming at me with spit flying and pointing her finger in my face like 1 millimeter from touching me (which I smacked away) all because I told her for probably the hundredth time that if she comes in my room and gets in my face to show me a hair/zit/blemish or something deep in the back of her mouth, that I cannot see whatever it is because the light in here is not bright to begin with and when she places herself between me and said light source where the light is behind her, that I cannot see what she is showing me. Sounds pretty simple, right? How many times do I have to explain a scientific fact? Every time, it seems, and still she cannot grasp the concept and persists with the behavior. So me explaining this scientific fact is labeled "you starting your SHIT!!!eleventy!!!" So she storms into her room to grab her damn flashlight which she always manages to nearly blind me in the process of shining it on whatever the fuck she feels the need to shine it on. Then because I wouldn't look at her she threatened to "smash my face" with said flashlight which she threateningly held next to my face and kept repeating the threat, while I repeatedly told her to "do it". Fucking pussy-ass bitch is all threat and no follow through. I called her bluff and she backed off. What a crazy bitch. Smh

First of all, it's fucking rude to get in someone's face to show them a hair/zit/something nasty in her mouth. Only a total NPD would think that is okay. Secondly, she never fucking listens when I try to explain that I can't see because of the poor lighting in my room. How is that "starting shit"? What a fucking mental case. The bullshit I have to put up with. And how is it okay to threaten to "smash my face" with a flashlight? She'll conveniently have amnesia over that because she is the queen of DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender). In her mind I am always the aggressor and abuser. She never ever abuses me and is always the victim. Pretty fucked up, huh?

That's beyond terrible behavior. I don't even know what to say. You handled the situation well, I think. This is some extreme shit though.

Has her behavior been getting worse lately? It seems that way from your descriptions.

Has her behavior been getting worse lately?

It seems like it. Reverting back to toddler behavior/tantrums. It's seems borderline psychotic. The thing of it is, I think she has enough awareness to know that it is not normal behavior and that is why she stopped going to her doctors' appointments in case they found out and might order a psych evaluation. So IMO it's not mental illness (I don't consider PDs to be a mental illness, it's faulty thinking) it's extreme narcissistic entitlement.

Her narcissism is turning more malignant. Narcissists believe that they are superior to others who are therefore inferior. So because they are superior in all things at all times, whatever they want is right and what other people want is wrong. Because they believe they are superior, they do not have to treat others with respect or consideration because others are inferior to them and don't deserve respect.

This has always been her position regarding me. She is the parent and therefore will always and forever be superior to me who is the child (always and forever, I can never be viewed as an adult and her equal even if I was 80 years old). She and my paternal unit to a lesser degree had this attitude that the adults are the boss and run the show and children do not get any say so. Children are not to be given choices or asked for opinions. The adult gives the orders and the child is to follow the orders without question. Children are less than adults. The feelings or wants of children are irrelevant and never to be taken into consideration because the parent is God and the children are less than cockroaches. I think that way of thinking is partly generational since that was how they were treated by their parents, but on the other hand, it's a very PD way of thinking. A non-PD would think 'my parents treated me that way and I didn't like it, so I'm going to treat my kids differently'. A PD thinks 'my parents treated me like shit, so when I have kids it's my turn to treat them like shit!' SMH

Isn't it more like they can't handle the idea of not being superior to others? And deep down they know they're not superior but they have to believe it. If that belief is challenged then they feel that their world is crumbling and they freak out resulting in a primitive "fight, flight or fuck" response.

A PD thinks 'my parents treated me like shit, so when I have kids it's my turn to treat them like shit!'

Were her parents narcissists as well? How old was your mother when they died? Does she ever talk about her parents? Does she ever use her parents behavior as an excuse for her behavior?

There is much debate at the PD forum in regards to narcs feeling inferior deep down. I think this is true of QoH on a subconscious level, but others have reported different experiences. With narcs, they create a false self, and an image of perfection and superiority that they try to project. I think the "fight, flight, fuck" response that you mention is a what happens when they suffer a "narcissistic injury". When they are challenged in any way they go into a rage. All it is, really, is a bullying tactic to get you back under their control.

Were her parents narcissists as well?

From the stories I've heard, I would have to say yes, and that it runs in their families. Her father was an alcoholic and he died before I was born, I think in '73 maybe? Her mother died when she was almost 86. I think in '97.

Does she ever talk about her parents?

Yes, mainly to complain about their bad behavior and her shitty childhood. It's ironic that she can't see the parallels between their behavior and her own. I don't think she consciously uses their behavior as an excuse for her own. She thinks she is better than them while she's doing many self centered things that are just as harmful as what they did.

My triceps are definitely looking more defined. If I actually ate a bodybuilder diet instead of anything I want, I wouldn't have a thin layer of fat to obscure everything. ;D

That's pretty remarkable, I guess.

At least my abs are loyal to the cause.

But what exactly is the cause? What are you working so hard at?

Being buff, fit, and sexy. ;D

I don't want to be one of these people who are prematurely broken down, fat, and gross. A few of my friends from hs are already like that and it's not a good look. And besides, I have a lot to make up for once QoH croaks and I need to be in the best shape possible for that.

Now wait a darn minute! I was under the impression that you already were buff, fit and sexy. What's up with that? ;P

prematurely broken down, fat, and gross.

But you're okay with being broken down, fat and gross at the right time? Some people never reach that stage of decay during their lifetime, you know. ;)

I have a lot to make up for once QoH croaks

I assume your bucket list has gotten longer over the years? Imagine the freedom you'll have. :)

I need to be in the best shape possible for that.

Well, an adequate state, right?

While it is true that I'm already buff, fit, and sexy, I'd like to remain that way for as long as possible. ;)

But you're okay with being broken down, fat and gross at the right time?

Nope, I want to be like this one old lady I saw who was lifting weights at the gym and looked almost half her age at 80 years old. That's a goal to strive towards. She wasn't sick or frail. She was living life like a boss. :)

Yeah, I have a few more things added to the bucket list. There's those caverns near Louisville, Kentucky, where they turned it into a zip line and bmx park. I need to go there. Also the Moab, Utah, area for mountain biking and assorted outdoor adventures. I think most of my bucket list stuff is of an athletic and outdoor nature, so I need to be fit. :)

Well, an adequate state, right?

I'd prefer better than adequate, but only the future will tell.

Soooo, Arekino-san, do you have any bucket list things that you'd like to share? ;P

BTW, QoH was still in bed when I got up today. I stepped outside for a minute and saw that it was a beautiful sunny day so I came back in and put on my bikini and went out back to catch some rays for about 15 minutes. When I came back inside, QoH was up but I made it back to my room and got changed back into my regular clothes before she noticed. ;)

I don't have a bucket list. I do have a bucket but, well, no, that's not actually my bucket. It's possible I'll have a bucket in the future... instead of a toilet. I don't think I'll want to write my wishes on that. I could wear it on my head. Probably a different bucket though. And I'll need a bucket to kick in the end. Also probably a different bucket, that would make a mess otherwise. I guess I have a list of buckets now.

I made chicken fried steak for dinner. Mashed potatoes and peas as sides. Yummy!

Nothing of interest to report. I guess I'll call the nabe about her lawn tomorrow. They do church all day today so I didn't even bother with it today.

Wait, is that steak fried in chicken fat? :O

Nothing of interest to report.

Nothing much is going on here either. I've finished watching season 6 of GOT and it has some really good parts and a few silly parts.

I unsubscribed to most of the subreddits I was subscribed to. To lessen the information overload. :)

I've taken a shine to different types of tea. Mostly ones with ginger and mint in them.

That's it. :)

Have your nabes ever invited you to church BTW?

No, it's just cube steak (extra tenderized round steak) that has been battered and fried in the manner of fried chicken. It's really good. :)

a few silly parts.

I had heard about that. It's still a good series overall IMO.

I have been drinking a lot of Bigelow brand Earl Grey tea lately. They had a sample bag of American Breakfast Tea in the last box and it tasted a lot like "London Cuppa" brand which I really like. Publix had Bigelow teas on sale last week and when I looked for American Breakfast they didn't have any. :/

Have your nabes ever invited you to church BTW?

Sure, years ago. I declined though.

And while QoH was out back watering her plants, I decided to fix a knife that I had broken the tip off. That's what happens when I watch Forged In Fire; I want to make knives, but since I have neither the knowledge nor the equipment to fabricate one from scratch, the next best thing is fixing broken ones. ;P

So I *did* manage to grind down the broken part with a hand-held electric grinder without injuring myself or catching anything on fire with all the sparks that were flying off. And of course, being me, I got all anal retentive over it. I had to get the tip perfect and even and the edge sharp enough to shave with, so I honed it to perfection with a honing stone and then further with the sharpening steel. Now it's once again a fully functional knife. :)

How did that happen? The steak couldn't have been *that* tough. :)

I tried to pry something open with it (this happened several years ago). It's one of those Wolfgang Puck knives from a set (the utility knife). They seemed like decent knives when they were purchased--they are full tang and nicely finished--but they're made in China and the steel isn't good quality. Hence the brittleness that allowed the tip to snap off. And the same knife got left on the edge of the stove and part of the handle melted. :/ Anyway, it now has a tip similar to a santuku. At least it's functional now. And sharp. :)

I think for my next metalworking trick I'm going to transform some of this chain mail that's just lying around here into some fancy dragon scale mail. Although I'm gonna have to have a smaller size link to go along with the size I have now. :/

Thatt would look really nice, I think. What kind of materials can you use for that? Where can you get them?

I wonder why chainmail isn't used more these days. I get that it's not bulletproof but it will stop a lot of other weapons, right?

I think it looks awesome. I love the look. It's basically a double thickness mail.

What kind of materials can you use for that?

I have copper wire available (somewhere in the cabinet in the carport where I'd have to move a bunch of crap to get to it). That's what I've been using. It's relatively easy to work with. They also sell ready-made links from various suppliers on the Internet, mainly steel and aluminum. The only problem with that is I don't have money to buy supplies and anything I ever *do* buy off the Internet causes QoH to flip the fuck out. :/

it will stop a lot of other weapons, right?

Sure. And it disperses the shock of impact surprisingly well. It's very good at stopping blades and blunt objects.

As a lark I was thinking of making some boot bracelets/spatterdashes with what I already have. ;P

I'm not using those scale thingies. "Dragon scale" is just the name of the double weave.

While I was looking up some pics of boot bracelets last night, I came across some interesting patterns for using regular round links. I'm going to try a couple of them since only one size link is required. They look pretty awesome. I hope mine turn out well. :)

Good on ya for getting out for walkies. ;P I take it the weather is improving?

Hmm, in researching my maille patterns, I learned that the first style of maille I ever made was a Japanese pattern called Hitoye-Gusari. I just now learned that name while trying to find the name of a pattern that I'm in the process of making. Turns out the one I'm making now is also a Japanese pattern and a variant of Hana-Gusari. It's kinda kicking my ass since I don't have a frame to pin it to. I'm just going to put it up for a while. It's very tedious work. :/

Yeah, somewhat.

Maybe you can take a block of wood and cut it into the right shape?

So what does it look like?

Just Google it. :)

I got a piece of cardboard to pin it to using some wood screws. I finished one small piece. It wasn't laying right and when I looked closer at the pic I was using for a reference I noticed that there were 2 different sizes of links they used. It's still possible to make it with all one size, but it doesn't look the same. Then of course I'm using reused links and some of them are a little bent from being opened and closed several times. Oh well. Not really something important for me right now.

I had placed an order for checks for QoH because the bank sent a letter notifying customers that they would not longer be free after today. So half the order came on Wednesday. I waited until today to see if the other 2 boxes would show up, but they didn't. So the post office either delivered them to the wrong house or they are lost. Well, at any rate they're lost, so now I have to call the bank.

I called the bank earlier but there was no answer. They're either busy with customers or on lunch break. I'm going to call again in a bit. :/

Well, good luck. Will you ever have enough checks though? You're gonna run out sooner or later.

I think I may go do some arts and crafts. I've got some cardboard lying around. Should be possible to do something with it.

I called the local bank again and once again, no one answered. Then there was a recording giving the 800 number to customer service so I called that. I spoke to someone and explained the situation. He had to put a stop payment order for the missing checks so no one can try to cash them. He also ordered new ones to replace the missing ones. Hopefully they show up and don't get lost in the mail like the last ones. :/

All this bs because QoH is too paranoid to use online bill pay. :/

arts and crafts

Kewl. What will you make?

I should probably deconstruct some of that hitoye gusari so I can make something different. I'm thinking of making those spats with a combo of plate and chain maille. What I want to do would look super awesome. :)

What does she think the difference is? In a lot of ways paying online is safer.

What material will you use for the plate parts?

She is paranoid of all things Internet related. Not only is the government monitoring all your activity, but all hackers now have access to all your information according to her. She doesn't understand this thing called encryption. :/ Some old people are completely set in their ways and reject all forms of modernity and convenience. Anyway, online bill pay is irrelevant since she has no clue how to use a computer. She can barely operate the TV remote or the power windows/mirror adjusters in her truck that she has had for over 20 years. :/

What material will you use for plate parts?

Thin sheet metal would be ideal, but since I don't have any of that, I was thinking to use some old cans that vegetables came in. At least they're steel and if I screw it up its no real loss to me and I'd get some practice on how to fabricate something like that. :)

I'd really like a pauldron for my right shoulder to complete the kinda steampunky look that I think I'm going for. ;)

I suppose. I think some of it looks really good as accessories.

Well, I'm kinda tired. I raked leaves for maybe an hour yesterday. I think I had about 3 garbage cans full. I went to bed a little before midnight which is pretty early for me. I slept almost 11 hours. :O I did more raking today. I started out in just shorts and a sports bra so I could get some sun (I could get away with it because QoH was napping) then put on a tank top after a while. I had to take a few breaks since my lower back muscles were sore. Anyway, I think I raked for maybe 3 hours total today.

You seem to have a freakishly high maintenance type of garden. I can't imagine that's the way you like it to be.

I have seen this thing a well, recently. The sun, I mean. It was like something from memories long thought lost. It's kinda nice actually. :)
