OUAT writers are assholes

They announced that a major character is going to be killed off in the second half of season three.  The characters who were in the running to get the ax are:

Emma
Snow White
Prince Charming
Belle
Hook
Henry
Neal
Regina

Emma  The savior.  It would be stupid to kill her off.  Highly unlikely.

Snow White  She's pregnant and that will be part of the story line in the back end of season 3.  Not likely.

Prince Charming  He was slated for demolition from the very beginning in season 1 but I doubt he'll be the one.

Belle  She's not really a regular regular.  I doubt it's her, but it could be.

Hook  My second choice for getting the ax although I think he's probably going to be the one to go.  He's not a regular from the beginning and seems expendable.  His character serves little purpose other than to be pervy.  It's too bad since Colin is easy on the eyes.

Henry  He's the primary plot device.  Unlikely.

Neal  My number one pick for getting the ax.  The actor playing him reminds me of a drunk or druggie with his mannerisms.  He's just so useless to me.  I wouldn't be the least bit upset if he got the ax.  Buh-bye!

Regina  My absolute favorite character of the show.  I heard a horrible rumor on the OUAT fan site that LP was dissatisfied with the role and wanted to leave.  I don't want to believe that as I'm pretty sure she has a 5 year contract and it would be stupid to give that up.  Also from what the rumor-mongerer said about some stuff that happened on set like trashing a dressing room, that sounds out of character for LP.  I think it is a bogus rumor.  But if it *is* Regina who gets killed off, I am so done with this show and will absolutely quit watching.

I never watched Lost, but OUAT has the same creators--Kitsis and Horowitz.  I heard that they did all kinds of stupid shit with Lost, too, and a lot of peeps quit watching because of that.  I guess leopards really don't change their spots.  It's a shame, too.  OUAT could be a really great show if there was some reasonable story lines, character development, etc. like the way some of the fanfic writers manage to do.  Seriously, I've found a couple fanfic writers who bloody well write circles around the actual OUAT writers.  If K & H do manage to ruin this show for me, I'll still continue to read the fanfics as long as peeps continue to write them because I get immense enjoyment from those.  K & H are douchebags if they continue to fuck with the fandom.  You have no show without the fans.  You should damn well remember that.

Are you ever going to tell me what the hell happened to your shoulder?

Nothing happened to it as far as I know. It just started hurting.

Would they lie about that?

Neal My number one pick for getting the ax.

He's Rumple's son though. Losing him would mean all of Rumple's plans were in vain. Rumple might get angry...

if it *is* Regina who gets killed off, I am so done with this show

What if they do a resurrection? :)

IDK, I think they are trying to create buzz and manipulate the fans by telling that. All it does it get peeps pissed off.

Losing him would mean all of Rumple's plans were in vain.

Even though I dislike the Neal/Bae character and especially the actor who plays him, I'm thinking it's probably going to be Hook getting killed off. I've seen in spoilers that Blackbeard is going to be making an appearance. Maybe there's an epic battle and Hook gets killed that way.

What if they do a resurrection? :)

K & H said that the character was going to be dead dead and not coming back. :/

Aaaaaanyway...

QoH finally saw some reason and went to her scheduled appt with the new acupuncturist. Turns out, she's a nice Chinese woman who used to teach at the acupuncture school. It was a little awkward at first with QoH being her usual difficult self, but I think this lady is more knowledgeable and takes the treatments more seriously. The other guy was just doing the same thing over and over. He seemed like he was just going through the motions and not interested in results. Some peeps get like that, get into a comfortable routine and don't want to make extra work for themselves.

So I see this as a good thing that he got transferred. This lady did a thorough examination and used an electroshock machine on the needles. That kinda amused me as I was thinking maybe she could use it on QoH's brain. ;P

Anyway, I think QoH is better off with this lady. The only thing is she leaves the office at 4pm to pick up her kids from school so my mother will have to come in an hour earlier than normal. She was willing to work with QoH on the schedule--QoH keeps her old appts but comes in earlier and this lady will still see her.

We also got into discussing Chinese zodiac stuff. Turns out she's a Rat, one of the animals that the Dragon gets along with. ;P

Doesn't the crocodile kill Hook?

Well, I guess she has to if it's her job. ;P I don't think I could do that. :)

I've got an appointment with social services tomorrow and another none in a couple of weeks. Could be trouble.

Yeah, in the book IIRC, but these writers play fast and loose with the original stories.

I was just reading some fan sites and the analysis is basically arguing back and forth the things that I said. It's basically:

It's Hook!

No!!! It's Neal!

No, Hook! No, Neal! Hook! Neal! Hook! Neal!

If it's Regina, I'm not watching any more!

Damn right! They'll be losing a fuck-ton of fans!

Etc, etc, etc. And that goes on for hundreds of comments. LOL

What do you think they want? Make you get a job or cut your benefits or something?

Are you managing to stay warm even though it's not really that cold? What about that plush noggin of yours? What are you wearing to keep it warm? A tuque? Fur hat? I need to know these things. :)

That has to suck for those actor, reading that.

What do you think they want?

Apparently, I have too much money in the bank. They do understand it's a logical consequence of me not having a life and rarely spending any money unless I need to.

Make you get a job or cut your benefits or something?

Possibly both or neither. They want to put me through some physical and psychological tests to see if I could still be worth something to someone as an employee. The guy who handles my case now is new at the job. It's hard to say what this will lead to.

Are you managing to stay warm even though it's not really that cold?

Sure. Outside a winter coat suffices for now. I do have something that looks similar to a tuque, maybe I'll get to wear it later.

So, when was your next gig again? Anything else going on?

There's a lot of Hook fangirls out there who will defend him to the death(puns intended). His character doesn't really serve much of a purpose at this point, plus his wife just had a baby.

Michael Raymond James(Neal)doesn't get much quality acting time from his role. He might have a better offer.

I have too much money in the bank.

Welcome to the wonderful world of hiding your moneez from the gubmint. You'll have to start doing a Scrooge McDuck with it. :)

to see if I could still be worth something to someone as an employee

You could always be my house boy. ;P

So, when was your next gig again?

End of the month.

Anything else going on?

Ma Nature visiting. And I found a reeeeeeeally long OUAT fanfic that I'm just getting into. 22 chapters. I was about to read another one but it turned out to be the sequel, so I have to read the long one first. I'm 6 chapters in and it's pretty good so far.

Hmmm, I don't know if I'll tell the Chinese import stories here or make a post. They're not really long, but I find them funny. It could be a stand-alone post. :)

That's okay. I can handle that. :)

Just keep a small amount in your account to keep the handlers off your back and withdraw the rest. Maybe you could stuff it in your mattress or sock drawer. ;P

You think you could handle someone else doing your chores?

What chores? You think I do chores? Regularly? LOL They'd be *YOUR* chores! ;P

I'm shamelessly lax when it comes to certain things. No, you could bring me my tea and painkillers. Ma Nature is being particularly bitchy this visit. It's always an adventure with her, and I am saying that with the utmost sarcasm. ;P

Anyway, it is a good excuse for staying in bed doing a marathon read of fanfic. 22 hours worth(with a few hours of sleep in between). Over 200,000 words in this one. I'm pretty sure it's the longest one I've read so far. By comparison, the story I sent you was 2,012 words. And this person did this in 5 months IIRC. An epic feat. And very well done I might add. It certainly had the feel of maturity and experience to it. It creeps me out a little, how familiar some of the conversations were. I've had some of the same ones.

It's funny really, it just kinda struck me last night that there are little recipes to certain kinds of life. If I name some ingredients like say, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, and wide lasagne noodles, you know that the dish is lasagne. If I named some other things, you get an ACON. Funny that.

That's okay. I can handle that. :)

Then again, it's short enough to just tell it here. :)

I'm pretty sure I've told you before that my superpower is remembering names and places. I remember every detail of this story, including names but I'm going to leave those out for anonymity's sake.

So QoH and I had to go locate and purchase some tea sets for a client. We headed down to the warehouse district by the airport because there were several Chinese import places close to each other in that area. We went into this one which turned out to be the mother load.

The first thing that's funny about it is that the place is so unremarkable from the outside. It just looks like any old warehouse. But the moment you went into the showroom, some of the things in there were quite stunning. The first thing that you absolutely could not miss was this enormous jade carving. It was at least 2-3 meters wide and probably the same height. I had never seen on piece of jade that large before, let alone carved into some elaborate scene. Most of the rest of the store was your very common garden variety Chinese furniture, vases, room dividers, etc, but they did have some really nice porcelain sculptures amongst the crappy stuff. They also had some very nice jewelry. We managed to get some tea sets and also bought some stuff for ourselves. I got some very impressive and intricate Fu Dog book ends and a set of porcelains of dudes doing several kung fu poses.

Now the funny part of the story--in the jewelry cases, they had some figurines doing very graphic sex positions, kinda like Kama Sutra. Needless to say, QoH the prude was horrified. She asked the girl behind the counter what they were. The girl, not speaking much English just exclaimed, "Sex! They sex!" LOL

QoH was completely mortified. She's still mortified by it to this day and if the subject is ever brought up she still speaks about it with utter disgust. I thought they were pretty funny myself. If I'm ever free of QoH, I think I might just have some for my curio collection. ;P

There's also the matter of the Chinese Rumpelstiltskin sales guy. He's the one that told me I was a Dragon(where I first learned that little fact about myself). I still remember most of the personality traits that he told me of the various zodiac animals. He told me some other stuff, too, but I'm waiting to see if that comes to pass. I don't want to jinx it by telling. ;P

And how about you, Arekino? How are you doing? Is your shoulder(or shoulders)felling better? Feeling good? Getting some fresh air? Eating well?

You should, you know. For, ehm..., inspiration. :)

Seems so, yes. :)

I'll always be an ACON, but that speaks more of my parentage than me. The funny thing with the really good fanfics is, if they are really well written, if they have the feel of experience to them, my mind starts wandering to my own experiences and it takes me longer to read through.

This last one seemed to be written by someone who had some experience with crisis counseling or drug/alcohol rehab or just disordered people in general. It just got me thinking about things. I've never believed in equality. That notion is easy to disprove just by looking around. Now, computer metaphors and terminology is not my area of expertise, but the recipe one doesn't fit as well here.

While it is blatantly obvious the difference in "hardware" so to speak, some have more RAM or hard drive power or other different things, it seems the programming language is basically the same.

I read a lot at the PD forum and a lot of people joke that the PDs seem to all have the same playbook. I guess it's more of when a certain series of prompts or whatever you call them happens, you are going to get a certain outcome. Of course, being people and not machines, we can always choose to change things once we recognize there is a problem. :)

Anyway, I wish I could use emoticons in the comments section because right now I need the smiley going blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. ;P

Anyway, not to toot my own horn here, but I *am* an award winning writer technically speaking, ;P I have the bad habit of thinking how I could have written dialog another way or better when I'm reading. I kinda imagine myself in the conversation and imagine what I'd say. (I think I'm pretty damn clever ;D) Anyway, what do you think of the line, "You are the warp to my weft"? I thought it was clever in that 1) it was a pun as the "warp" part was in reference to someone thinking that they are warped, and 2) the language is symbolic and full of hidden metaphors if you look closely at the definitions and context. Has a nice poetic quality, methinks. :) That or I think too highly of myself and my good marks in creative writing classes. ;P

continued below because I'm writing a novel in comments again...

I was thinking about all the crazy stuff I'd decorate the house with recently. There were some risqué black and white art photos that I was contemplating. Sometimes I wonder about myself. ;P

Not exactly. Just something that he said that seemed crazy then seems not so crazy now.

I guess I'm doing okay.

Ah, c'mon! You can say more than that! I'm tired of being the blabbermouth around here. ;P

what do you think of the line, "You are the warp to my weft"?

A little far-fetched and pretentious. :)

Okay. Tomorrow is the 13th birthday party of one of my nephews. I'm just going to give him some money and a card. My shoulder seems to be doing better. I'm even doing mild exercises.

I'm tired of being the blabbermouth around here.

Well, one of us has to be and I don't think I'm up to that task. ;P

This Friday I'll get a medical test. Sometime after that a psych test. And I'll get a report on the 17th.

do whatever you want to do.

Hm. I have to warn you that I'm likely to do nothing. :/ I'm really a lazy asshole when it comes to B-days.

1st place AACS state essay competition. And top honor for AP English in HS. :)

Harumph! It applied to Rump and Belle. Him being into spinning and weaving and all. I think it was a good one. :P~

:O

that I'm likely to do nothing.

I couldn't make you do anything anyway. Send me an e-card then.

No sense in that. You couldn't one-up me anyway. I am the best and a sore loser, not that I could possibly be one-upped. ;P

Watching some Olympics and then a little yard work. I guess your country plans to win ALL the speed skating medals. ;D

Ah. So you have the knack. I guess I knew that already. Oodles of talent. :)

Yeah, that's part of what I was concerned about. I wouldn't want it to turn into a competition.

I guess you were highly self-critical? Lots of great artists are like that, I think. But that's not necessarily a good thing. Lots of great artists were alcoholics.

The B-day party went surprisingly well for me. It wasn't as stressful as usual. I'm not sure why, although there weren't as many people as usual so that was probably a factor.

QoH was the one who was critical. No matter what I did it was never good enough. On the one hand she liked to brag to people about how smart I was and then on the other hand criticize, question why I didn't do this, that or the other, if I got a B why not an A, if an A why not an A+, etc. I think they call it "splitting" at the PD forum. It's enough to make one insane. Any time she would brag about me I just felt like a fraud and couldn't live up to it(plus she exaggerates). So much fun being never good enough./sarc

Lots of great artists were alcoholics.

Don't remind me. Just had the Great Whiskey Skirmish recently. And I don't even *like* whiskey. I bought a bottle of Wild Turkey for a recipe then QoH flipped out. She was pissed that I spent $15 on it and then accused me of "getting a taste for alcohol". It's bad enough that she accuses me of being a "closet alcoholic" because I have a beer every couple weeks or so. She wanted me to return the whiskey and get my money back. Well, I'm NOT going to do it. Now I don't even want to open it for the recipe. It's just going to be a symbol of my defiance. I'm an adult. If I want to have a drink once in a blue moon it shouldn't even be up for discussion, it's something most people do. Of course, I now have an empty bottle accumulation to sneak out in the recycle bin-- 1 vodka, 1 Irish cream, 1 amaretto, 1 red wine and a few beer bottles. It makes me look like an alcy but it has taken me over 10 years to finish some of those, it's not like I went through all that in a week or a month. :( Plus, living with her would drive anyone to drink. It speaks volumes for my emotional strength and endurance that I don't(not more than I do anyway).

It wasn't as stressful as usual.

That's good to hear. Was it just family? Do you have more stress from family or non family?
