Broken Promises/DGAF Friday
After a week of writing promise-checks that cannot be cashed, the brooding Regal gals have determined that all our fucks have mysteriously disappeared, and therefore, we simply have no more to give.
Maybe the Great Wizard Arekino can work his magic and coax a decent post out of me in comments. ;P

Due to the deficit in fucks, I didn't have the energy to 'shop that pic. I just stole it directly from the post of the chick who writes the OUAT recaps at tv.com . She was being all silly and teasing with the Swan Queen shipping nonsense. She was just busting on how suddenly Emma and Regina are all simpatico. It was kinda funny. If I feel like it at some point, I *might* go 'shop it, crop it, and re-post it. ;P

The UFC fight night last night was actually entertaining. The main event was probably one of the best fights of the year, although like Emma, I had the feeling that there was something just a bit *off* with what I had just witnessed. :O I'll definitely have something to say about *that*!

Not yet. Parental Units are working on that now. My taks is to assist and tomorrow I'll be painting the ceiling and part of the wall white.

Yeah, there were a few incidents with people getting too drunk for their own good (it seems some even arrived tipsy). They were quickly sent home though. The rest of the evening was pretty much incident free. Cleaing the toilet took a few days apparently. :)

Just looking at the pic, I'd say those trees are of the genus Platanus. We have a lot of those here in town.

At least they had a bouncer to keep out the ones who showed up unruly. That sounds like what Jamaicans do. They 'make the rounds' of all the different parties, sucking down all the food and drink they can get.

The first time I saw it was when I was young. I thought it was just okay. But it has become one of those cult classics like Monty Python Holy Grail and I can quote all sorts of lines and themes. I even found the book at a thrift store and bought it. The book is *a lot* saltier and not at all PC. They had to change some things for the movie. ;P

I am not familiar with those. It looks as though they were "hat-racked" and then the new growth came out. The ones in Princess Bride looked similarly hat-racked. I was just wondering if that was done for a specific purpose.

The bathroom is still not done. Not that it was that dirty but progress is slowing done because people are getting tired. My mother wants to do all the cleaning work herself but she's not as young as she used to be. And people do need to take a bath now and again. This is going to take all week at this rate.
I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow. I'll get the result of last week's blood test. I'm not expecting the results to be ideal. As long as they're not extreme I'm okay.
Oh, I finally bought myself some new warm sweaters/pullovers. Nothing fancy, just functional. :)

Yeah, it was one of those annoying flashbacks that didn't actually add anything new to the plot. It was just episode filler IMO. That crap is starting to annoy me. I have an angry ranty post almost ready to go on that. *~>:(
