Valentines: Once Upon A Time Style
Well I finally got around to making up some Valentine's Day cards as promised. I wasn't too sure I was going to be able to since I've been in a bit of a creative slump the last few days. I was concerned that I had made a promise as empty as Regina's heart. But fear not! The Great Xul has pulled it together enough to at least half-ass it! I hope someone enjoys these. I myself am going to do Valentine's Day in the Evil Regal style--alone and resentful and maybe try to destroy someone's happiness. ;P 'Cuz as Regina says, "Not having someone, that's the worst curse imaginable."

I've had a bit of a rough morning. I've had a prostate exam (no problem detected by the doc) and I've had some blood taken. I'll get the results in a week or so. I had gone to the doc about 2 weeks ago because I suspected I had a urinary tract infection. As it turned out that's not the case but the doc wanted to do a little more research to be sure. Symptoms have disappeared now mostly.
And how was your Valentine morning?

Symptoms have resided. I'm awaiting the results of the blood test. They're testing for some kind of hormone apparently.

Question: if you could pick any character from OUAT as your Valentine, who would you pick? Hmm...that's a tough one. The only 2 guys who I find physically attractive on that show are Jefferson/Mad Hatter and Hook. Except Jefferson is...well, nuts and angry...and Hook is sleazy.
Now you know that Regina is my girl(but not in a gay way) and she could definitely use a Valentine. So Regina it is. My Valentine's gift would be my fabulous advice cuz giiiirrrrrlllll! You're doin' it all wrong!

I just spent some time giving special Valentine's TLC to my poor neglected car. It got the spa treatment. Damn that car has a lot of shit to polish and clean! That's what I get for buying a sexy/curvy car. ;P

Ah, Thank you! You're welcome! I still can't get over the ordeal you had to go through yesterday. I wish I could've been there to give you some proper activities to make up for that.
I really like the new "Mad" Card BTW. I didn't make it. It was on my FB from the OUAT fan page. Hence the joke about me not having to choose. If I had a good photo shopping program I could make ones like that. As it is, I've just been getting creative with the basic programs that I have.
Does the hatter come back later in the series? Yes! In a few eps of season 2. Although I'd like to see more of him. Maybe they'll have him back for season 3.

I'm sure it would have been nice to have you around. :) I would have made you a nice dinner--my specialty--honey teriyaki marinated skirt steak(grilled) with garlic mashed red potatoes and some nice steamed asparagus or haricot verts and a yummy sherry/strawberry trifle for dessert. :) Now I've made myself very hungry.

your cards are on par They would be exceptional if I had Photoshop. Right now I'm just ganking pix from the web and adding text. The ancient Lexmark photo editor program I have is super easy to use but limited. I have an old Microsoft program from 2001 that I made the 'cougars' card with. It gives me more options on certain 'projects' but I'm still limited according to the template. I need to be able to cut and paste and add effects.
