Dreams

Okay, so I know I had at least four good dreams last night and at some point I was semi-conscious enough to tell myself to remember them.  That did not work out as planned.  At this point, I only remember a little bit of two of them.

In one, I remember that my mother's ophthalmologist(the one who did her eye surgery) was in it although I don't think he had much of a role.  He was in sort of a surgery area and I was with a group of people passing through.  He was going to go off to lunch and he wanted us to clear out.  I did not want to clear out because I was interested in the body parts that were laying around on some metal tables.  I think there were some internal organs and a brain and a severed head that had been skinned except the skin was still covering the skull kinda like a latex mask.  I though that to be pretty cool and I remember pulling it off the head like it was a mask and examining it.

In the other dream, I remember having some sort of dispute about a tire at one of those national chain tire stores.  I was really pissed because the manager was lying to me and telling me some bullshit story and trying to scam me and I wasn't falling for any of it.  I was in full Regina mode with great wrath and I threatened to put their stupid store out of business and the whole chain for that matter.  The manager was like, "Oh, how do you plan to do that?"  And I was like, "You'll see, it's called word of mouth.  I'll tell everyone I know to never give this store business and what a bunch of lying bastards you are.  I will put it out all over the internet!"  And that's about all I remember of that one.

So waddya think?  I know that I have zero tolerance for lying and that really gets me set off.  I have no idea what could have triggered me to have a dream like that.

Any idea whose body parts they were? It sounds like someone got deconstructed, literally and figuratively.

I will put it out all over the internet!

A power fantasy maybe? You feel like you have a connection with a greater force?

I had a weird experience this morning. I woke up around 7:30am and looked at the clock and decided that I could catch a couple more hours. I think I may have been half asleep or something but I was very sure that I heard the door of my bedroom open and someone come in and brush up against the end of my bed. I remember that I was lying on my back with my arms behind my head but I had my head covered by my blanket. I decided to just lie still and pretend that I was asleep. Then whoever it was was standing over me and leaned down close to my face and began whispering something to me. The only thing I remember was something about 'tri-colored biscuits' so I'm very sure it wasn't my mother. Then they left and shut the door. Now I'm sure I was hallucinating it because that is just bizarre. It's weird being half in and half out of sleep. The brain does all sorts of strange things. Then I distinctly remember dreaming about being in some sort of hotel and dreaming about having that experience and then asking peeps who were there if they saw someone go into my room. So weird.

Any idea whose body parts they were? Nope. It could have something to do with my anger about the Dr. Oz show. I did some web searches to find other peeps who hated the show as much as I did and one of them said they hated how he would have real body parts on the show to serve as illustrations of healthy compared to diseased parts. Well, that's one of the only things I like on that show. LOL :::shrugs:::

It sounds like someone got deconstructed, literally and figuratively. LOL!

A power fantasy maybe? Oh, I have lots of power fantasies! ;P

You feel like you have a connection with a greater force? Actually, I do have connections. :)

Maybe next time you should get up at 7:30? ;P

I have lots of power fantasies! ;P

Everyone does, I guess.

I do have connections. :)

Me too, but they're all WI-FI. :)

Do you have any comic books? I bought a couple the past week. Haven't done that in maybe 30 years.

Maybe next time you should get up at 7:30? ;P No way! That'll mean more time having to deal with my mother. Although usually when I wake up that early it's because she is awake and somehow her negative vibes wake me up.

When I finally got up at the required time, she was already bitching about how she didn't get any sleep and was up all night. Proves my point about my internal warning system alerting me to the fact that she's up.

Do you have any comic books? Maybe 4 or 5. One old Thor one from the 70's and some first edition Thundercats ones from the 80's. So almost 30 years for me, too! :P

What did you buy?

That's possibly not a good sign. It could mean that your on some level always alert for your mother. That's a source of continuous stress, I'd say. I'm surprised you sleep at all.

Why does your mother have trouble sleeping BTW?

What did you buy?

"Identity Wars" featuring Spider-man, Deadpool and the Hulk. This one arrived a couple of days ago. It's fun.

"The Coffin" by Phil Hester. I'm not exactly sure what it is but it seems like SciFi to me. I'll have to wait and see.

It could mean that your on some level always alert for your mother. I *am* on constant alert. I never know when the simplest interaction is going to turn into crazy town. And she's always critical. If I'm watching something on TV that she wouldn't *approve* of, I'm always vigilant to change the channel as quickly as possible to avoid her bull crap. Such a wonderful way to live. /sarc

That's a source of continuous stress, I'd say. Indeed.

I'm surprised you sleep at all. Sleep has always been a sanctuary for me.

Why does your mother have trouble sleeping BTW? Partly because of the diabetes and(just my opinion here)she has herself stressed out over stupid things.

arrived I'm assuming you bought them online? No comic shops in your 'hood?

I used to like the art books at the bookstore(the fantasy art). My friend B introduced me to those when we were in HS. She liked to look at the nekkid men in the gay art photography books. LOL It's so funny how back then kids/teenagers weren't allowed to see porno mags(kept behind the counter) but you could go to the art section of the book store and look at all the nekkid peeps you wanted to. LOL ;P

Yep.

Nah, we have a couple of book shops but they have nothing I like. Plus it's all translated into Dutch what they have.

What got you so out of shape? Not working. I had to walk around for 6 hours last night and by the time I got home and into bed everything hurt so bad that I had a tough time getting comfortable to try to fall asleep. I would have done almost anything for a good back rub.

This morning when I got up, I was still a bit sore and stiff, but it didn't last long. Walking on tile and concrete surfaces is tough on the body. :(

It's too bad that you are not here. I could have taken you out for an excellent picnic in the park today. I have acquired as of last night some very fine cheeses and fruit and those are always good to put in a picnic basket. ;)

I got a shit-ton of Gouda, muenster, cheddar, and Swiss. I am in cheeses heaven! It's almost like the good old days of the art center. :)

And it wasn't hot today! In fact, it's supposed to be cool for the next few days. :) :) :)

So how are things at your end? Weather not sucking? Get your other comic yet? Parents aren't being too annoying? Babysitting? Inquiring minds want to know! ;P

V everything hurt so bad

I hope they payed you lots of moneyzzz then?

I would have done almost anything for a good back rub.

I'd give you one for free but my arms are not long enough.

an excellent picnic in the park

That would have been fun. Is the park nice?

Maybe we'd leave the Swiss cheese at home though. I hear it has a rather strong smell.

Weather not sucking?

It feels like spring actually. Or rather, it smells like it, faintly. The temperature is still a bit low.

Get your other comic yet?

Yep. Just finished reading it. It was quite enjoyable. A little creepy but enjoyable.

Parents aren't being too annoying? Babysitting?

If my parents were too annoying, I think I'd have to take to some radical measures. Luckily, things have been tolerable.

Haven't done any real babysitting but my youngest nephew got dropped off at the house for a few hours and a good time was had.

Is the work going to be a regular thing or was it a on off?

lots of moneyzzz then? What I've become accustomed to. :::thumbs up!::: ;)

my arms are not long enough. If they were long enough, where would you buy shirts? ;P

That reminds me, a friend of mine used to joke with her husband that all men have a Secret Handbook of Man-Skillz where they all know how to do special man-tricks or know man-terminologies. Sooooooo....do you know how to do the DIY chiropractic? That is one of my favorite man-skillz. :)

Is the park nice? I think it is. It is very big and has lots of beautiful oak trees--some hundreds of years old--and there is some nice open space for kite flying. Also, a big lake and a small water park for the kiddies and lots of paved trails for walking or riding bikes.

A little creepy but enjoyable. Creepy can be good. ;)

Luckily, things have been tolerable. Not around here. Mine has been needing to re-charge her batteries(peeps like her feed off conflict, it's like their energy source). It's very annoying.

Is the work going to be a regular thing or was it a on off? Likely on/off. It feels good to be doing something, though. There are a couple prospects coming up. :)

I'm sure I can improvise a nice massage if needed.

That's good to hear. Maybe it's sign things are looking up?

A special woman-trick? IDK, I think most women are pretty good at multitasking. I know I am. I can have 3-4 things going at once and not be overwhelmed.
